From the estimate to the installation to the follow-up, Eanes provided exemplary service. The representative who conducted the original assessment provided a number of options, honest assessments of what was necessary (including optional services without any pressure to purchase), and took the time to understand our needs and circumstance. Installation could not have been easier and more impressive. Technicians were on time - to the minute - and were impressive in their attention to detail and cleanliness. Follow-up and assistance with inspections were immensely helpful. To a person, every staff member was courteous, gracious, and generous with time and effort. One could not hope for a more positive experience!

Very well. In addition to cleaning the heat pump he fixed the thermostat that was not working properly. It did not ake him long for the thermostat but saved me a headache.

I had 2 systems serviced. He cleaned and inspected the heating systems for the winter. He didn't take a long time and he did not "fly in and fly out" so he did something. I can't really say if the job he did was quality or not because I didn't see the work but the service tech was professional, courteous and prompt.

A year ago, I contacted Eanes to replace my old air conditioning unit and propane furnace. Mr. Eanes took the time to explain all my options for a new system and I decided to go with a green infinity heat pump with an electric furnace. He also stopped by again before the install to double-check a few things and then several times on the day of the install. The entire Eanes team was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend them for any HVAC upgrades. I've now had regular maintenance twice on the system and that service is excellent as well. You can't go wrong with EANES!!!

Starting in 2008 they showed up on time and everything seemed to go well until it got really hot, the drip pan under the A/C unit filled with water causing the auto sense switch to trip and shut down the unit. This required four visits to resolve, including one by the owner of the company to try to figure out what was happening. Again in 2008 when we switched to heat, there was no heat from this unit. It took two service calls to finally determine that they had the intake and outlet pipes reversed. (When you have two units from a single heat source one of the units has to have the intake and outlet pipes reversed for it to work). In 2012 we were not getting A/C they came out and said the unit was low on Puron recharged to get A/C back, said if it happens again they would do a leak check. I was told by customer service that we had a 10 year parts and service agreement in place. The only documentation provided at the time the unit was installed was a Carrier 10 year parts warranty. In 2013 (5/8) we were without A/C again, they sent a service tech out, he said "there has to be a leak but I can't find it with my equipment", he recharged the system, and it seemed to be working. In July unit not working again called for service, sent out a technician with better equipment, said the evaporator coil was leaking, and it has a one year warranty. On July 22 received an invoice for $266 for the 5/8 service call. Called to discuss with Customer Service, they told me I had to talk to the Service Manager, it took four phone calls to finally get to him (he was on vacation for part of this time) bottom line I still had to spend the $266 to have a non-functioning unit and they wanted another $1561 to replace the Evaporator Coil. They were willing to provide a discount to $1,409. Good 10 year parts and service warranty? Decided that Eanes has visited my house for the last time. Found another HVAC supplier (on Angie's list) did the entire job for $1240. Unit is working well since the repair.

Eanes does a great job. They responded promptly and I was impressed with the guy who came out to service the units. He asked how comfortable I was repairing certain aspects of the system and helped me to diagnose the problems without overcharging. I have been satisfied with the repair and would not hesitate to call them again.

It's the best air conditioning system we've every had because everything matches from the handler to the outside unit. Eanes Heating And Air Conditioning are really good and we haven't had to have them back for anything. They put in the previous air conditioner too and the owner had the foresight to buy up the old models so he put the exact same air conditioner back in.

It went great. I was very pleased and satisfied with them. The workmen were great. They were very efficient. He also sent a form to me to get the right-off on my taxes. I didn't have to do anything.

The repairman Bryan M. first came to the home when we initially had some filters changed and the duct work looked over. Once he discovered what the problem was he gave us the actual quote. No pressure to book the next appointment but just let us know what our options were. On his last visit we called Eanes and set up for him to come and complete the work. He was fast, fair and very professional. He explained everything in terms that anyone could understand. This company is great. It is easy to get a quick appointment and they don't to make any repair larger than what it is. I will use them for all of our air/heat needs. Corina

It was an Angie's list Big Deal that I purchased. It turned out great. Everything turned out all right. He came right on time. They're really professional.

Installation took about a half of a day. Very professional, courteous customer service. We have been using Eanes HVAC for several years for service of our old unit. Price is reasonable. Chad is our service technician and always goes beyond the call of duty to make sure everything is to our satisfaction. Sales staff member, Keith Purgason, took time to understand our needs for a new HVAC unit and did not try to "oversell" us on the system. We received a $200 Duke Power rebate and a $100 coupon from Angie's list. The installation team was quick, professional and cleaned up well after themselves. Very conscientious employees. We will continue to use Eanes for our Spring and Fall HVAC service. We appreciate that by using this service, we can call anytime (weekends and holidays included) and not be charged more than their regular service rates. We did get a second bid, but the salesman did not appear to be listening to our concerns and tried to sell us on the high end units, which we just did not need. We have had our new system for almost a year now and have been pleasantly surprised at the considerable drop in our heating and air conditioning bill.

Previous company just added refrigerant without leak-testing. Eames technician tested and said that there was too much refrigerant because we didn't have a leak but a valve was stuck. The part was expensive to replace and we decided that it was better to replace the entire unit because it was 10 years old anyway.

4 bids from 4 different companies. EANES was the highest. I was very happy with their punctuality and courteous manner. I was unhappy with EANES' recommendations and price.

The estimator arrived on time and was very professional. Provided the estimate in a timely manner. I felt the estimate was too expensive and decided to go with another company.

My first impression with Eanes was positive. I had previously used several other companies for service on my AC, but found great reviews of Eanes on Angie's List and decided to try them when my AC started malfunctioning in April. I called on a Monday morning and had a technician at my home that afternoon. The technician was very knowledgeable and friendly and explained what he believed to be the issue with the unit. He attempted to repair the problem with as little cost to me as possible, and, when he left my home, the unit was working properly. Additionally, because I was so impressed with the quality of customer service, I signed up for a customer loyalty program, which includes two visits per year - once in the fall and once in the spring - to check to be sure both the heating and air conditioning components are working properly. Two days later, on Wednesday, I awoke to a warm house and was immediately aware that the issue with the AC had returned. I, once again, called Eanes and was pleased to have a technician back at my home that same afternoon. The lady I spoke with to schedule both appointments was lovely and so helpful - a real pleasure to talk to. The same technician came back out and decided to replace the pipe that he had, on Monday, attempted to repair, thus lowering my cost. He made the repair, tried to make the visit as cost effective as possible, and once again ensured that the unit was working properly before leaving. Unfortunately, on Friday morning, I once again woke up to a warm home. I was very frustrated and called Eanes again. I was able to make an appointment for a technician to come for an emergency visit on Saturday morning. When this technician, not the same technician who had visited previously, came into my home, he quickly recognized my frustration at the situation. He took about 2 minutes to identify the root of the problem that was recurring - the unit had shifted and settled, causing a drip. He immediately began repairing the problem. After the repair was completed, he stayed around for roughly 30 minutes to ensure that the problem was, in fact, remedied. When he was assured that the issue had been taken care of, he gave me specific instructions about what to look for throughout the remainder of the day to make sure that no other problems were occurring. He said he would call on Sunday, the following day, to check and make sure that everything was working properly. Sure enough, he called the following day at the time he said he would and, sure enough, I was able to report that everything was running smoothly and cooling well. Although I was frustrated at the multiple visits necessary to take care of the problem, I must say that Eanes was very respectful of my time and worked very quickly to address my concerns. I was only charged one diagnostic fee, since the three visits were all the result of one problem that had not yet been remedied. Furthermore, although it is likely that the repair/replacement of the pipe on the first two visits was unnecessary, the last technician could not rule out the possibly that those were necessary repairs; however, because of the expense accrued earlier in the week, I was not charged any repair fee on the third and final visit. Overall, I was very pleased with Eanes. I no longer have to worry - I know that, if another issue arises with my heating/AC, Eanes will be the first and only number I will call.

I really liked the whole experience. He explained what was wrong and what my options were. Eanes later quoted a price to replace my system. They were very competitive. I used another company because of our past relationship but I was very pleased with the customer service I received from Eanes.

Bitty and Paul came out faster than expected to fix the a/c in our heat pump. They diagnosed the problem as a short, found the faulty wire, fixed it, and we were up and running much quicker than expected. They were professional and very knowledgeable and the cost was way less than we expected. Thank you!

Only company in town able to make it to my house same day as trouble call. In fact 4 hours after I made the call my air was back on. Great tech. Quick fast happy.

I had used them before to install a new air conditioning unit two years ago. My experience has been great. Their customer service is great; they come when I need them. They corrected an issue I had for free.

Called them at 8am and they said they would have someone here between 2 - 4. Called around 1 to say he was on the way. Diagnosed the problem as fan motor. Replaced the motor and was done within an hour.

We had no experience with this type of heat. We had just bought the house and wanted to make sure we could safely light the pilot light (it's gas). The tech seemed to check the boiler out, said it was fine, that the pilot lights itself, and gave us instruction on how to bleed the air out of the lines. That was pretty much the entire visit. The tech didn't stay long enough to make sure the heat circulated throughout the house, and that the system actually worked. Another company was called out to do that and it was discovered that the pump was going out and no able to circulate the heater water.

Our upstairs A/C unit stopped cooling. We had just had 7 lbs. of freon added approximately 4 weeks prior from another company and they said there was probably a leak, but they didn't check to confirm. I tried to get that company back out when it quit cooling this time, but it was Friday morning and they said they couldn't make it out until Monday. This is when I went to Angie's list for heating and air vendors. Eanes had many positive reviews and an A score, so I chose them to call. I lucked out, because this is possibly the best service provider that I have worked with since I moved here from Dallas several years back. When I called, I got a very pleasant voice on the phone that said they could have someone there between 3 and 5 that day! This was at around 1:00 in the afternoon. As luck would have it, they had a technician close by that was wrapping up another job and could be at my home in around 30 minutes. The technician, Chad, arrived prompt and was very professional. He began promptly looking at my system and found the leak within minutes in the outside unit. Our outside units are original to our home at around 17 years old and the info on the units had worn off through the years. Chad put in the extra effort of calling the manufacturer to find out more info on the unit as far as fill capacity to repair, test and fill properly. He also tested the inside unit to make sure there weren't any additional leaks. Chad was very informative through the process making us feel confident in his work. He was able to repair the leak and bring us back to a comfortable temperature within a couple of hours. The highest price of the service was the cost of the freon. With our older unit using R-22 freon, the freon was $75/lb and he had to empty and fill it with 8 lbs in the repair process. I can't say enough good things about Eanes and our service technician, Chad M. Chad went beyond what I expected and gave every effort to give us exceptional service. I will be recommending Eanes and Chad to all my friends!

Not sure if they went out to the property. Quoted a price for a replacement that I could not afford and I contacted other companies for second opinion. Turned out that system only needed cleaning.
