Courteous and professional on the phone and in person. Estimate was fair and reasonable. Arrived on time and did excellent work. With all the disreputable tree "services" out there (many going door-to-door, claiming to be "in the neighborhood" working on your neighbors' trees and offering "on-the-spot discounts" if you'll let them slice and dice before disappearing forever) it's nice to find a true professional who knows his stuff and does not try to rip you off.

We had a 30 to 40 foot hickory tree that had started to lean and uproot due to all of the wet weather. It was threatening our neighbor's house and yard and we wanted it removed as soon as possible. We called numerous tree companies but so many couldn't help us for many weeks or even months out (some didn't even bother to listen to our request). We found Cut Right Tree on Angie's List. Andy Cunningham was quick to respond and give us a quote which was the lowest one received. He was also able to come out in less than a week to do the job. Andy Cunningham and the crew were at our house at 8:15 a.m. and done in 2 hours (we kept the wood for firewood). It was such a pleasure working with him and a big relief to get the tree taken care of so quickly! We will certainly call Cut Right Tree again when we need tree work done!

Ground up stump, trimmed extra tree branches overhanging roof and completely repaired rotten fence post unavoidably knocked over during job. Both neighbor and I were completely satisfied at the end of the job.

They did great. There was no damage to the oak tree and their clean-up was exceptional. I would recommend them to anyone and I will use them again.

This is the second time that I have used Cut Right. Once again Andy returned my call promptly and came to the house the same day to give me an estimate. I told him that neither tree would pose an immediate threat and that he could work me into his schedule whenever , giving priority to other customers who were in worse shape after the big wind storm of June 13. To my delight, he was able to fit me in the very next morning. His crew was efficient and left the areas clean. They also picked up some other fallen debris and disposed of that as well. Andy is very pleasant to work with and his men are skilled and efficient.

Returned my call to arrange for an estimate in a reasonable time. He was very pleasant and easy to deal with. We decided that he would come out to my property and determine the cost of the stumps I had marked for him. As it turned out, my husband was home when he arrived. He gave the estimate which my husband found to be very reasonable. They agreed and Andy (having his equipment with him) did the work right on the spot. He did an excellent job. We highly recommend him and would and will use him again.

Called and requested an estimate on the removal of two trees from my backyard. Andy Cunningham responded within 1 day and came within 2 days to give me an estimate. His crew came out the following day, Friday, April 12 to remove the trees and grind the stumps - it took less than 1/2 hour. Andy had asked if the crew could come back Monday, April 15 to remove the debris from the property because his truck was already loaded for the day. I agreed and his crew arrived back on Monday, April 15 around 10 am. At that time, I also asked if they could remove another 2 very tall bushes and he agreed for just a few dollars more. Also, he gave me some information regarding my crepe myrtle trees that I was unaware of - actually saved me some money..

I got many quotes and although Cut Right wasn't the lowest, I wanted a company that was professional and had insurance. They not only did all that was contracted for but did not hesitate to perform additional work that was decided after the job had started. A quality job from a great company!

After Hurricane Sandy, the next morning I awoke to find my largest of two bradford pear trees down on my front lawn - very upsetting. I called several companies for estimates. Andy's the was second company I contacted, but he was the first to come out and provide an estimate (within 24 hours). As Andy and I walked around my yard, he listened to my concerns and explained my options for removing the tree. Having obtained several estimates, Cut Rite Tree Service (Andy) turned out to be the most timely, professional, and cost effective. Within several days of providing the estimate, Andy followed up to inform me that he would be in the area the next day. I was impressed with the follow through, so I returned his call and I asked him to complete the work. I had some scheduling concerns, but I happened to be home when they arrived. Upon arrival, Andy and crew wasted no time getting started.The job was finished very quickly, and cleanup was great. In a week or so, the team will be returning to complete the stump grinding. I'm looking forward to same level of service. The work was completed today, and I could not wait to share this review with Angie's List. I would highly recommend Cut Rite Tree Service to anyone looking for a excellent tree service at a very reasonable price.Try this company!

After getting quotes from several tree companies, Andy was the most reasonable and very professional. Between our schedules, we had to reschedule for several weeks, but I had communicated that the job was not urgeent. On the day we agrred on, he and his crew of 3 arrived 30 minutes early and started at first light and worked had all day. My wife was impressed with the professionalism, hard work and care that they took around the property. As agreed, he left the chips where we requested. He returned the next day to grind out the stumps. Andy and his crew cleaned up everything, even cleaned out the gutters! The yard looks incredible now with much more sunlight available to the grass below the trees and nothing near the house or shed roofs or the secondary power lines. I will undoubtedly use Andy's services in the future.

They charged a reasonable price ($150/ hr for a 3-man crew) and had a 4 hour minimum. They worked the full 4 hours. Andy Cunningham arrived for an estimate at the scheduled time and gave an estimate on the spot. The crew arrived on schedule with a large truck and attached chipper. They did the work (plus some extras) agreed on including grinding up all debris and cleaning up at the end. We were extremely pleased with the results.

Andy is very professional, reasonably-priced, and customer service oriented. Would definitely use services in the future.

They were on time , very professional , worked hard until the job was done. They were very careful around the house making sure nolimbs came off and hit the house , they cleaned up after themselves , hauling away debris and even blew down ,raked and swept to make sure everything was clean.

He was actually ahead of schedule and actually finished ahead of schedule too. His price was considerably less then competitors.

service from start to finish was great. He showed up when he said he would, and we felt comfortable enough leaving for our vacation, and he had to finish the job without us overseeing he work. He did exactly everything he said he would do. We would def. use him again.

Andy personally answered my first call to the business. He agreed to come out the next day and look at the tree and give me an estimate if it needed removal rather than saving. (which it did). He kept me posted on his arrival time as he had several other jobs before he could get to us. His estimate was excellent compared to others that I had gotten for the same job. He came back two days later as promised with his crew and removed the tree, chipped up the branches and cut up and removed the trunk and cleaned up the area.. He offered to leave the chippings for me to use as mulch if I wished. He even chipped up some other branches that I had lying around the area. The next day, they were back to grind up the stump and do a final clean up of the area. Except for the missing tree, you would not even know that they were there. Throughout the whole process, Andy was on time, courteous and knowledgeable and his crew was hard working and efficient. I will use him again if I need any other tree work and will recommend him to my family and friends.

I would give them an A overall. I would use them in the future.

Andy provided a detailed estimated of service with options, scheduled work 2 days after receiving approval, arrived at scheduled time of 8:00 am, completed all work except stump grinding in 2 days, stump grinding completed 4 days later. Working with Cut Right was an excellent experience. I called Monday for an estimate, Andy Cunningham came out to do the estimate on Tuesday and the work was completed on Wednesday. Based on experiences shared by friends who used other tree services, I expected to pay much more for less work. I feel I received an excellent value for my money. The service and communication were also top notch. Andy even called before they came out to ask if I needed to move my car. He thought of everything. I would most certainly use this company again, and have already recommended them

I joined Angie's List specifically to locate a quality, reliable contractor to remove a tree from my yard and Cut Right Tree Service never returned my call from over a week ago.
