WHISNANT'S TILE & TRIM

Provider was recommended by a "friend". I, and my decorator picked out my granite slab. I needed two slabs to complete my countertop. The stencil was made of my kitchen cabinets and I went to the slab yard to determine where the cutouts for my sink and stovetop would be in the slabs. I was shown the wrong slab, and when the numbers (that I was assigned when I picked out the granite slabs) were checked, they saw that I was indeed right and they couldn't find one of my slabs. I was told that one of my slabs had been broken. Hmmm...I think it was a mixup and it was sold, because they showed me the wrong slabs.I had to go to the slab yard in Charlotte (about 100 miles away) and pick out another slab. I was called by Whistnants and told that my new slab was going to be almost twice the price of my originals. I then asked if they were going to give me a discount because of my extra trip to Charlotte, the charge my decorator charged me to help pick out the second slabs, and my missed time from work. Whistnants refused to do anything except tell me I could not get back my deposit a this point. I was stuck using them, or give up my considerable deposit. The guy (David) did a beautiful job, but the business side of it was a nightmare.
