Description of Work: Built a wheelchair ramp, cement driveway and sidewalk. At the end of the dirveway built a four inch hump so water would drain down hill. It was like a hugh speed bump. Very difficult to get over going forward and backing up. Eventually he did fix. Left cement all over the side of my house, storage building, mailbox. Made comment that he did not know how to do this tpe of job, had I known this would have hired someone else. The gentlemen has done small jobs for me in the past and I was very happy, he should have told me he was not experienced in this type of project. Now what he has done the driveway is cracking, uneven and for my family to have it redone would cost more than the original cost. For small projects he is fine, but ask before you hire to see if he can do the job properly.

+ 5 moreMy 88 year old father broke both of his legs, could not walk and was confined to a wheelchair. His older home was not built to be handicap accessible. He could not get his wheelchair into the bathrooms and he was not yet able to use a walker. I live in Utah, so it was extremely important to have someone that was trustworthy and honest to assist my elderly parents in North Carolina. The Home Pro Handyman did just that. We are so pleased with the bathrooms. They are beautiful and most importantly, accessible by my father. The attention to detail that was provided for this project was most appreciated. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for quality workmanship in their home or business.
Description of Work: Job 1. Gutted old bathroom, took down adjoining walls to expand bathroom size to make handicap accessible. Built new footprint of bathroom, sink/vanity, installed new shower and plumbing, new toilet, new drywall, installed ceramic tile floors, built linen closet, installed new door, new lighting, etc. Complete redo. Job 2. Removed paneling, flooring, sink, toilet in second bathroom. Installed drywall, moved plumbing and installed sink/vanity, toilet, lighting and installed new ceramic tile floor. Job 3. Wood Floor for hallway. Removed carpet and padding and installed new wood floor for hallway.

Description of Work: I am a single woman and I have employed Home Pro Handyman for years for whatever job I need around the house, making the approximate cost of service a huge variable,. Currently I am using the service for lawn maintenance. There have been times I had to 'poke em with a stick', to get them out but generally that's due to a really busy season. I have called them in emergencies only to receive prompt and courteous service. Honestly, the service overall is excellent.
