+ -1 more4 or 5 guys came and moved light furniture and boxes from a single bedroom apartment (up one flight of stairs) to another single bedroom apartment (up one flight of stairs) accross town. All the work took about one hour. The guys themselves were nice and polite. I was concerned more than one needed to use my bathrooms in the course of one hour. Why couldn't they use the bathroom before they came to work in another persons home? If the work had taken longer I could have understood. I did put a cover on the mattress but somehow the mattress still got dirty in the truck even under the cover and I am not sure how that happened but the dirt wiped off easily.

Description of Work: Two men trimmed bushes in the front of my house. I was told when they started that I would need to "TIP" both of them. I wasn't sure if this was a personal request, but when I saw it on the form that tips were "appreciated", I felt obligated to tip each worker. The price quoted was $125 and the tip was $20 each for a total cost of $165. I felt this should have been explained with the quote. They also did not provide leaf bags so I had to provide them for them. However, I would not use them again due to the combined cost. I had received other quotes that were in-line with Exodus and one less, but I wanted to give them a chance since I am aware of Exodus and its mission.

+ -1 moreThe Exodus Works Team was excellent. I changed my move date at the last minute due to pending inclement weather. They responded with inspiration that we would get it done. They were GREAT!!! It started snowing in the midst of moving. We were able to get it completely done in 4 hours! These guys were awesome. I would use them again.

+ 0 moreThey estimated 5 - 6 hours work for 3 men. There were so many lilies that they took a wheelbarrow full next door and planted them for my neighbor. They worked nonstop. Did a beautiful job. Cleaned up after the work. Total time (including planting for my neighbor) 7 hours. They charged $20 per hour. Three very pleasant men did the work. They will be back here when I have work to be done!
Description of Work: Dig up lilies & irises. Replant with proper spacing. Weed beds. Mulch beds and trees.

+ 1 moreMost recently we had water leak into the basement at our business and we called Exodus for some help. They sent 2 guys within the hour to begin moving furniture, vaccuming up the water, and scraping up paint that had begun peeling off the floor. They worked for an hour and a half and got all the affected area cleaned up. Though the water was still coming in slowly and I had to pick up vaccuming it that afternoon, we were very pleased with the prep/cleanup work they did. They were prompt, friendly, professional, and very reasonable. In the past we've also used their moving service on several occasions at our furniture store. They have always been friendly and accommodating, and are very reasonable. Will be using their movers again. Also last fall we had them send 2 guys to our house to blow/rake leaves. Again, they arrived promptly with all the tools they needed, were friendly and willing to work, and finished cleaning up the areas of our back yard very quickly. Our neighbors also used them last fall to remove some shrubbery, ivy, and leaves, and I know they had a similar good experience.
Description of Work: My wife and I own a small business and have used Exodus Works on several occasions for various odd jobs, both there and personally. We had them do furniture moving, lawn care/cleanup, and water damage cleanup in our basement.
