The worker did an awesome job and I would hire them again in the future.

Great job painting, but they skipped some places. I had to call them back to come finish these places, then I found more trim they had not painted.

My deck had posts that were hanging instead of holding it up. I needed repairs to be completed in 4-5 weeks. Harold came out to determine the work needed and had many great ideas for different approaches. They were able to get the work completed in time and the quality of work was very good. This project was bid out to two other vendors. Certapro was neither the most nor least expensive quote yet I feel they were the best value in terms of a reasonable price for the amount and quality of work. I would recommend Certapro and will be using their services in the future.

They were on time. Walked through with me prior to starting to make sure we both agreed on the job to be done. When finished they cleaned really well and walked back through to make sure I was satisfied.

Certapro was prompt in sending out someone to provide a quote. We received the call for a start date on our project but that date changed twice. This was frustrating as I made plans to be out of town during their time of painting so our small children would be out of the way. Basically I was told we were next in line but if the current project had add ons to their project, our start date would get bumped. I explained we needed a definitive start date due to planning a stay with family to be out of their way but they were less than apologetic or willing to commit. They did a good job with our upstairs b/t prep work and painting however I was disappointed with our basement. They left nails in the wall and there were numerous pre existing holes that had not been filled in. I contacted Phyllis via email expressing my concern and was told they did the job per the contract. Not true, the contract specifies prep work to be done at job which includes filling in holes, etc. Customer service is definitely not important to them in my opinion. For the amount of $ we paid, I felt like our satisfaction with the job should have been a priority and it clearly was not. We would not recommend this company for residential painting.,

Phyllis and Harold came over to complete estimation and color consultation - both were extremely helpful and responsive. They were even able to recommend someone to complete some additional work to complete my bathroom upgrade. Workers showed up on-time and completed work on schedule. They patched any areas on my walls that needed it and sanded/primed my cabinets as well. Paint is even and looks great!

The bedroom which was previously painted was very good. The bath where they removed the wallpaper was OK. There are defects where they didn't properly fix the sheetrock where they removed the wallpaper. They have offered to repair these. They left a lot of sanding dust -- maybe 1/4 inch on top of towel racks, etc. We expected them to clean up better. The bath where the wallpaper that we removed came off easily was good. The last bath where we had removed the wallpaper and the wall was rough was very bad. The wall had rough glue on it and they did very little to smooth it. They estimated the job after we removed the wallpaper and said it would be no problem to get it in good shape. It looks like they just slapped a coat of paint on the rough wall with little no repair. When we called to complain, they sent a Sr. Manager who said they shouldn't have taken the job after we removed the wallpaper as it was too much work to smooth it down. They wouldn't do anything other than offer to add a coat of a different type of paint if we would buy the paint. We contracted them for this bath specifically because we didn't have the experience to skim coat the wall to smooth it and they said they could take care of it. In the end, they didn't stand behind their work in that bath. I would never use them again based on this experience.

The experience was good. They were quick, clean, and they did a good job.

Harold came out and did a walk through to see what needed to be done. Phyllis came to help with the color consultation. The paint crew came out and worked consistently and professionally. I enjoyed having them at my home. They were all friendly, and easy going. I felt comfortable enough to discuss any paint concerns I had, such as rotting wood, and what I would like done to the shed. Eddie made some excellent suggestions that I followed up on. I had a piece of soft, rotting wood on the side of my house. It was repaired so well that you cannot even tell there was wood rot there.The best part of all was that they cleaned up after themselves. I was waiting on a new storm door to be installed and Certapro said they would come back for touchups after the door was installed. That is above and beyond the call of duty for me! This company did everything they could possibly do to make sure I was satisfied with the job. They made me feel like friends, not just a client. I will use them again for any of my painting needs in the future.

I think they did a very good job. They came in on schedule and did it in the time they said they were going to. When the job was finished it looked fine. We did get two or three prices and they were the best.

Joe was very responsive every time I called or emailed him. I felt like Flavio's team that did the work did an excellent job and cleaned up after themselves everyday before leaving our home. It was a HUGE mess. I felt like the ceilings needed one more coat of paint when they thought they were done so I called Joe and voiced my concerns and he said, "We want you happy" and so the next day, Flavio's team was back at our home painting another coat. Now our ceilings look awesome! No MORE popcorn ceilings for us! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them for any painting job.

Very smoothly, well done, the painters stayed on task and the job was completed in five days.

First day 2 Hispanic workers showed up to power wash prior to painting. They showed up unannouced and we had no idea that they were even coming to power wash that day. Np one had even called to say that they were starting the job. I had stressed to Harold that the spray could not go into our 15,000 gallon koi pond that is off the back of the house. I tried to explain that to the workers and all I got was "no comprehend" (or however they say it in Spanish. Harold told us that they would tarp the deck to keep the spray out of the pond. The 2 workers did not speak English or understand English so I sent them away.. I was told that there was also supposed to be an English speaking supervisor on the job. I was also told that they were not even scheduled to be at our home THAT day. I sent them away and called Harold and cancelled the job. He wanted me to pay for the supplies he had already bought.. Good grief charge me for vinegar to power wash for a job not even started. When I questioned him about what supplies he had bought and he said $20.00 for cleaning supplies (vinegar) for the power washer. Good grief charge me $20 for unused supplies that could easily be used on another job! Of course we did not pay for the cleaning supplies.

Tongue and groove ceiling had wood knots showing through the paint. Owner said that a shellac-based primer would be needed to solve the problem. Crew arrived on time. They were extremely professional. Priming and paint job was excellent. CertaPro Painters is a franchise company, so my review only applies to CertaPro Painters of Hickory/Catawba Valley.

I am a one color type person and my wife is much more aggressive when choosing colors for the interior of our home. CertaPro came to our home twice to assist us with the color scheme. Painting turned out GREAT and the color choices were even better. Highly recommend and will use again!

They told me each job had a supervisor and one or two other helpers. The first day worker #1 worked by his self. Next day he had a helper. 3rd day he had a helper part of day. He told me at the end of 3rd day it would take 2 more days. He and his friend came the 4th day worked until 10:30 (3 hours) said they were done. They ask me to inspect and I was not happy with what they done. They did not even put a lick of paint on part of my stair spindles, base of stairs, window sills, walls, and they messed up 3 bedroom doors, a bathroom door, and basement door. My doors still have paint runs. They did not get all the wallpaper off my walls and put paint over that. They covered my furniture up the first day and after that they did not cover my furniture. They got paint on my leather furniture and end tables and floor. I had a mess to clean up. They stood up on my kitchen table to paint. They had no respect for me or my property. I had problems every day they were there. They wanted to talk on phone and smoke more than work. They messed up so bad that Harold and Phyllis came back on Monday and made punch list of all the areas of my home that needed paint or repainting. This was a large job, Kitchen, Dining Room, Living Room, Stairwell, Hall upstairs. Removing wallpaper and borders, and painting. Well they sent someone else out the next week to fix the mess that was left. The first guys tore leg off my curio cabinets and made deep digs in my hardwood floors broke one of my cover plates and did not even say a word. I found all that after they left. The other guy did a good job. We had our kitchen cabinets tore out and had new cabinets installed with led lights over the top since the kitchen has been painted. The lights shining on the ceiling show two places that does not have any paint. They did not leave us any ceiling paint. They told me what was left over would be left with us. I called Phyllis and she came out to look at my ceiling and said it looked like a shadow. Haven't heard a word since. I was very displeased at how I was treated and talked to by owners and some of the painters. I am not a happy customer.

The folks from CertaPro did an amazing job -- we are very pleased with their work, professionalism and attention to detail. We'd recommend them to anyone wanting a paint job. Our job turned out to require a little more extensive wall repair than originally thought, requiring a third mud skim, but CertaPro did not increase the price from the original quote. Work was completed in a timely manner, and followup is exceptional. We give them an A in all categories, but wish there was an even higher grade. We will definitely call them again for our future painting needs!

I got a high price from those guys, they've painted for me twice and they've done a good job. I liked that they did a professional job, they cleaned up their mess, they didn't have that much mess but they cleaned it up, they were helpful actually in determining the color I wanted, the quality was very good, I really didn't have any complaints, I would use them again. I had no problems with them at all, they did what they said they were going to do and they did it when they said they would.

Work went very well. My pregnant wife was out of town and we knew we needed to use oil-based paint on the paneling. The guys came in and got the job done in no time, which helped a ton with getting the nursery ready for our daughter. I did need to touch up some of the floor trim, but that was expected as we only contracted for one trim coat. Overall a great experience.

It went well. They did a good job for me and I had no complaints. I liked that they were insured in case anything went wrong.

I was very pleased with them! They were professional and friendly throughout the entire service. I had these doors refinished 2 or 3 years ago by another company and I had not been happy with the end result. However, Certa Pro did a fantastic job and I would definitely use them again.

They were in and out and did a wonderful job. They arrived on time and did the work well and even finished early.

It was very timely. The painters were professional. So was the person who came out to do the estimate as well as the person that came out to help with colors. Overall, I am very satisfied.
