My experience with them was great; it was real good. They were there when I called them, they made it to my house when they said they were going to be there. They did all the work really in a timely manner and did good work. They delivered on everything they said they were going to do.

Repairs were completed on the first visit. Replacements were installed several weeks later when fixtures were available. Price was reasonable and workers were professional and efficient.

They did the diagnostics and advised that we did NOT have to replace the entire water heater (unless we wanted to), and that there was a lower price option available. ...replacing the heating element. We greatly appreciated their honesty and professionalism. Since the water heater was not as old as we thought (which was also info 3rd Rock provided) we went with the repair vs. replace. They performed the repair immediately and everything functioned fine.

Bought an old farm house that had the house plumbed half well-water and (as the city annexed the property in later years) half city water. It was a horse farm where the previous owners started dumping manure near the well and so the well had become contaminated with coliform bacteria. They were able to treat the well and well-fed lines into the house, then cap the well source into the house and splice in the city water to provide for those lines. Cost $500. Also, had a leak at a toilet where the water line entered the bottom of the tank. They were responsive, came on time, were very professional and courteous and didn't mind teaching me about what I did wrong to fix a Delta kitchen sink faucet (I didn't tighten a retaining ring enough to seat the replacement washers well). Cost $175.00 I'd have no problem recommending them or calling them again. In fact, their card is now taped on the inside of our cabinet for quick reference.

I called 3rd Rock Plumbing to repair a leaking pipe that was hidden between floors in my home. I called at 9:00 AM and they informed me they could fit me in and would arrive at 10:30 AM. They arrived at 10:25 AM and immediately began work. They took great care to minimize the damage to the ceiling they had to cut to expose the problem pipe. They repaired the leak and in addition replaced a leaky main water valve. All the work was completed in 2 hours. I was extremely pleased with their performance and will definitely use them in the future for any of my plumbing needs.

sent email on Sunday, April 28th, received a response Sunday evening and called us Monday morning due to a cancellation and fixed our problems on Monday, April 29th.

Everything was completed successfully, and the plumbers were polite, cooperative, and carefully explained the necessary repairs.

3rd Rock Plumbing was very professional and efficient both times we have used their services. We were very impressed by the speed they came out, and also in the speed of the repairs. In the case of the broken water main, they discussed our options so we could make an informed decision based on cost and the expected longevity of repair. Found this company on Angie's List. Emailed for estimate and had a return call within an hour. Said they would meet me at my home at 4:30pm to give me an estimate. They turned up on time and gave an estimate of 200.00 to fix the leak. Came back the following morning and repaired the leak and found that the water pressure was too high diagnosing a faulty regulator which they replaced on the same visit. Total cost was $400.00 including regulator valve. Overall the service was outstanding and reasonably priced. Will definitely use them again.

I found MY plumber! I'm in the facilities business and have always done my own plumbing at home. But not specializing in it means I have to have a lot of time to fix things. These days I'm blessed with a job where I can't commit a weekend to a plumbing fix. So several items had gone unfixed at our house. Finally the children's tub mixer valve went, and I had to have a plumber, pronto. After calling a few out of the phone book who didn't have time for us ("It'll be next week...No, wait, that's the week I'm on vacation..."), I consulted Angie's List! Found 3rd Rock, placed a call, and the next day they were out! Mike didn't have the very particular type of shower valve assembly on his truck and after a very diligent attempt to repair the valve, had to order the valve and said he would be back in the morning. Next morning, no Mike, so we placed a call and they apologized for being backed up and gave us a time that same afternoon. Jim, the owner and Mike both showed up on time and in 45 minutes, I kid you not, they had fixed that shower, another shower valve that needed adjustment, THREE busted sink drain stoppers and a misbehavin' toilet! The price we paid for all that included both labor and materials. Wow! Professional, clean, courteous and quick. My house is old enough that more WILL go wrong. But, its OK... I found MY plumber.

I like that I can get somebody on the telephone when I call. I like that they gave a set date and time and that they came at that date and time. They were very courteous and clean. I didn't have any doubts that they would do what they needed to do. I thought that they were a little pricey though.

The water heater started leaking and they came out and replaced the pressure valve on the water heater. It was replaced and he left. About 10 minutes passed and it started leaking again. He immediately returned, removed the new valve, and replaced again. It was still leaking. He realized that the culprit was the pressure valve coming into the house. This had blown out the holding tank and the new pressure valves. He went outside and checked the pressure coming into the house.After he replaced the pressure valve coming into the house, everything was working fine.

I had noticed water seeping from underneath my bathroom vanity. When we called Planet Plumbing (as they were known then), they were initially uncertain as to whether they could get out to us that day, as they were all booked up. However, after saying they'd return our call in about an hour, they called us back even sooner and said they could a couple of guys out to us. The workmen came out, took a thorough look at my vanity and surmised it was a pipe behind the wall. They managed to get in, replace the pipe and completely stop up all the leaks, and get out with a minimum of fuss. They cut the smallest hole in my wall possible and when they patched it, they also fixed my vanity (which hadn't been glued down properly), for no extra charge. They also made sure to check the surrounding walls to make sure the leak hadn't spread. They were very thorough, polite and professional. About the only ding I could give them was they didn't wear booties over their shoes, so they did track in a bit of dirt, nothing serious, but it was something I noticed. Thankfully, the dirt was tracked over my tile floors, not my carpets, which made it easier to clean up.

He arrived on time and began working promptly. I found them very professional, courteous and felt comfortable around them. I was very satisfied with their price for all the hard work they performed.

They arrived on time, knocked out the work very quickly and cleanly, provided great information about what they did, and worked to make the repairs as cost effective as possible for me. (Example: another plumber said I needed to completely replace the faucets that were tricky to turn. 3rd Rock suggested they just repair the existing faucets, which was a LOT cheaper.) They also checked under the house for me and let me know where another water turn-off was for the house ... which I never knew existed. They were extremely nice and good.

Made the call at 1:30, they asked about the size and configuration of the broken hot water heater. Arrived in little more than an hour with the correct replacement. They worked fast and were done in about an hour and a half. Cleaned up after themselves. Phone estimate was right on.

We had a sewer line clog, called 3rd Rock Plumbing and they were here within an hour. Great service and they resolved the issue very quickly.
