Excellent service. Would recommend highly. Household backup on Thanksgiving 2014 evening and left a message with their "real person" answering service, not a machine! They called me at 8:05 AM Friday morning and were at the house in 20 minutes. Found problem on city sewer side, but unclogged anyway. Also, corrected a poorly installed toilet seal from 2001. Very professional and knowledgeable. Specializes in repair rather than new construction so very knowledgeable of problems. Did not respond to grading pricing as I have no benchmark, but would call this company again as first choice! A very impressed customer.

I received a call back within five minutes of placing a request for service. They indicated they would try to do the service the same day and would call me at 1 o'clock. At 1 o'clock they called and said they would be there in 30 minutes. They were professional and gave me advice on some other issues I wanted to take care of in my house in the future. I would totally recommend them

Had a fantastic experience with 3rd Rock. Punctual, Responsive, very helpful with options for a basement bath remodel. Due to other circumstances, unable to complete project, but I do hope to contact them again when funding in place for the remodel. I strongly suggest giving 3rd Rock a call.

We had an emergency. Jim came out shortly after I called. He fixed the problem for a fair price. I will call him again.

The two service technicians arrived exactly on time. When they found the problem, they showed me what was wrong, why there was a problem and how they would fix it. They fixed the problem within a half hour and cleaned up after themselves. They double checked their work to make sure they hadn't missed anything. When they left my bathroom was as clean as when they arrived. I will be using this company in the future as well as recommend them to my friends.

I called on a Monday and found I am a little bit out of his normal range (about 10 miles) but he was willing to do my service if I didn't mind waiting until Wednesday, that was not a problem as the leak was not an emergency. He asked I send photos so he has an idea of what he will need to do. He arrived at the time he said he would. Both jobs were done in an hour and forty five minutes, that included time for me to go get a new faucet while he tore down the old one. Jim was friendly and efficient. All in all I am very happy with 3rd Rock. Thanks Jim!

The Angie's List on this company is already great, which is why I hired them. Was not disappointed. Quick appointment. Showed up on time. And when I return visit was required to finish the job, they handled it quickly and expeditiously. We have been looking for new tradesmen since moving here last September. These guys are keepers, and among our best finds.

I was needing a gas valve moved due to new appliances. The day before the appointed I was called to ask in the workman could show up 30 minutes early which was very professional. The workman showed up on time, took the time to properly cover my flooring to prevent any damage, and also answered any questions. The valve was originally installed improperly and not up to building codes. 3rd Rock took the time to make sure everything was installed properly and the cost was half of what I expected.

This was the 2nd job we hired Jim and his crew for and I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again. They were very professional and the whole job went very smoothly despite being somewhat unusual. I hired them to rough-in a room in my basement into a full bath (shower, sink, toilet). This job was unusual in that it required a "up-flush" unit since all the drain lines were above in the basement crawlspace. I had already purchased the special Sani-flo unit and associated fixtures for this, but needed all the supply and vent lines done. They went above and beyond since some of this work required fabricating a special shower base (not normally something a plumber would do!!) as well as cutting a "notch" into my concrete pad for the p-trap of the new shower. I've had no issues at all since the initial install and I don't expect any considering the quality of the work. As a bonus, Jim was also available via email. This really helped with scheduling and making sure communication was clear on this unusual project.

They were very friendly, prompt and reasonable. I take care of my mother's affairs remotely due to her age (she is 75 miles away). Jim at Third Rock was very understanding and billed me after the work was complete. They repaired a leaky toilet, installed a repair kit in a bathroom sink fixture and inspected the house plumbing for other needs. Very professional, prompt and reasonable. It took him all morning to fix the toilets, but they are fixed and he did a good job.

They were great. I had water and sewerage backing up into my toilet, tub etc. They came very quickley, checked the pipes and realized it was a cracked pipe at the connection point under the road, which had caused a clog. They cleared the clog so we could at least use our plumbing, and they even took care of getting the city out to put in new pipes for us. I will definately use them again if I need a plumber

3rd Rock showed up at the promised time and completed the replacement with no complications. They left the site perfectly clean. The surprise? In the evening I received a follow up call from 3rd Rock to insure everything was operating properly and I was satisfied. Wow.

3rd Rock arrived at the appointed time and completed the job in a timely and professional manner. The plumbers were friendly, efficient and answered all our questions. They took the time to explain the timer function on this system so that we can regulate the amount of time it runs to help serve energy. They were very efficient and cleaned up after the job was done. They made sure to remind us that all their work was guaranteed for a year. Also, on 12/11/2013 they came to fix our kitchen and bathroom faucets. The kitchen faucet leaked and they rebuilt it. The bathroom faucets had become loose and out of alignment and they corrected both. The cost of this visit was $150. All in all we recommend 3rd Plumbing and for sure will call them again if we have any plumbing problem.

.Excellent service all around. I contacted another plumber before calling 3rd Rock and was told the earliest they could get to me was Friday and I needed one today. I spoke with Jim and he advised me it would be no problem to get someone out today. Within and hour of my call to Jim, Mike and Lucas arrived to repair my shower that was leaking all over the basement. They were both very friendly and professional and I would recommend this company to anyone with plumbing needs and I'll definitely use them again in the future if the need arises.

Excellent job. Was punctual in arriving to examine job to be done and in providing estimate of cost. Was very professional and performed work in a prompt and very satisfactory manner. My downstairs had flooded from rain which knocked out my hot water heater and sump pump quit working. The hot water heater was a bit of a challenge because of the water it had taken on during the flood.The guys did a great job drying it out and getting it going again. I was afraid I was gonna have to replace it. The sump pump that I had purchased to replace the old one did not fit the hole, and I dont think the original one did either. Lucas told me exactly what to buy so I went and picked up a new one while they worked on all of the other jobs. As soon as I got back with the correct pump it was installed in no time. They tested it and did a great job. My toilet flusher had never worked properly since it was installed and had developed a slow leak. Now it works great and I'm looking forward to my water bill going down. My bathroom sink was clogged and now drains as I use it and is no longer a slow drain. My kitchen faucet also leaked constantly so I had them install a new one. It looks works great and looks great. It is so nice to have things back in perfect working order. Jim, Mike, and Lucas did a fantastic job and answered all of my questions.They are very professional and trustworthy. I had a very bad experience with another plumber a few years back so my sister gave me a memership to Angies List for Christmas. I am so glad she did cause I now have found an excellent , fair, plumber I can trust and will definately use again when the need arises. I hate to admit that I expected to pay more so was pleasantly surprised with the final cost.
