furniture repair
 + -1 moreExcellent work! Very cheerful man who will let you know if a piece can be repaired or not. Now, it makes my sofa look drab, so I'll be budgeting for that next:)
Description of Work: Local man who works out of his home 252 426 1642. I had an oversized chair which needed re-upholstering. I checked with a few place which just wanted me to buy a new chair from their store. David said he'd be able to refurbish it all including new cushions if necessary. (It wasn't and he didn't:) I supplied the fabric which he approved of, did in in less time than his original estimate and made better antimacassars than the originals. His price included pick up and delivery, but he would have adjusted the charge if I'd wanted to tote it myself.
