Description of Work: David designed and installed a wonderful 55' long permeable brick paver walkway from my back deck to my cute storage shed. The walkway makes the yard! He & his company re-paved the Memorial Garden at my church, First United Methodist of Hendersonville, NC. The Garden and fountain are so beautiful & peaceful.

Description of Work: We did not use this company as they do not provide the service I was looking for. However they were very quick to respond to me and willing to help me.locate someone to do the service I was looking for. Very professional. Description of Work: They built a 3.5 ft high, 82 ft long dry-stack retaining wall into the hill behind my home. This extended the depth of the backyard about 10 ft. I also had a 100 ft long french drain installed in the back and side yard to improve drainage. And pop-drains were removed on 5 downspouts and drain pipes installed to move water away from the house and into basins lined with river rock. The wall is spectacular, very well made and beautiful to look at. The only small criticism I have is that the crew could have handled my existing downspouts with a little more care. They did rework a couple of them when asked, however, and were very dedicated to do the job right. They were a very capable and friendly crew of 3. The owner stopped by daily and provided prompt answers to all my questions. He even gave me several tips on work I was going to do afterwards and some ideas on landscaping. I would definitely not hesitate to hire these guys again.

Description of Work: Built a dry stack stone wall about 80' in length. Very professional. High quality. Amazing craftsmen. Beautiful wall. Would definitely recommend.

Description of Work: The services that were preformed: Patio with fire pit and additional landscape on the side of the home with rock steps leading down to the patio in the backyard. Great job - would recommend Van Wyck when looking for a landscape designer.

Description of Work: VanWyck LanDesign did a beautiful job of replacing an old concrete sidewalk with decorative pavers. Their work transformed the entry by complementing and calling attention to existing rock work. It's a wonderful improvement! | |The crew rebuilt a failing drain swale beside the driveway. Now it's working well and looks good covered in river rock. | |David VanWyck and his crew are true professionals. They're good people to have around and work hard to do a first rate job.

Description of Work: They installed some drainage on the side of my property, leveled the ground, installed a retaining wall and moved some of the soil they dug up from the drain to some spots that had erosion. They are very busy, so make sure you schedule asap!

Description of Work: Mulched front yard, two flower beds. Thickness of the mulch great! Seemed to be |a little pricey for me but not my husband as he didn't have to do any manual labor. I would recommend David to my neighbors.

Description of Work: Van Wyck and company did a general renovation of our front yard landscaping and did a really great job--David had several good ideas, and we followed them. This started in Maarch of 2012 when we had a consultation, then he came to do the work in April of 2012, and he came back and finished in May. In July he came out to consult about work in our back yard, which we approved, but didn't come to do it until October. We live a good distance from his business, so he evidently waits till he can do several jobs at the same time in this area. We have been very pleased with his work.

Description of Work: David removed all the unsightly growth on the upper side boundary of my property and replaced it with a variety of gorgeous shrubs and blooming plants. He also sprayed repeatedly to try to get rid of a nuisance plant that was thriving when I bought the house. I am not good at estimating distance, and right now I can't find the diagram he drew, but trust me---it was a lot of work. David is a perfectionist, and I appreciate that.

Description of Work: Removed and hauled away the entire concrete driveway and existing fence. Graded and installed 12" gravel base, 1" sand base and paver stones. Installed new drain from foundation and new heavy steel cover for driveway drain.
