This is an update to my original posting of 1/16/2023. The owner of the company called and scheduled an appointment for the next day to fix my toilet. He and one of their top plumbers, who successfully did work for me before, came to my house and completed the job. The owner apologized for what had transpired and said the work was not being charged to me. I asked that he please tell me the cost and that I wanted to pay but he said it was a courtesy visit due to what had happened. He never asked me to change any reviews and just apologized again. I thought it was very admirable and wanted to do this update. While I can't give a 5 star review due to the disorganized office, I was impressed with Keith (the owner) and Terry who worked with him to fix my problem.

Great! This company provides great service by going above and beyond to complete your repairs. They were punctual, and if they thought they may be running behind they would call beforehand. I would highly recommend them.

They're expensive, but they're dependable and fantastic people to work with.

Their always send us the same person that knows the place, and they always do a good job and very efficient. They do extra work a very reasonable fees. They have been very helpful and they always come on time and never been late.

Normally they have been very good. One time, they were supposed to service my plumbing and they didn't do it well like they normally do. They were replacing little parts in the tank instead of replacing everything as I had asked. I am looking for a new company.

They are excellent and are always on time. They do what they say they will do. Very professional company that I would highly recommend.

It was an issue with the shower faucet. The plumber removed the faucet cover, enlarged the opening in the wall to gain access to the faucet, and repaired the part causing the noise. He also fixed a leaky kitchen faucet while he was there. I've used Summey Plumbing several times. The staff is always professional and courteous. When they enter your house, the first thing they do is cover their shoes to protect your flooring. The prices are a little steep, but I've found other plumbers to charge just as much and are not as professional.

They have been fair. They are the best ones around here. They are good. They do exactly what you ask them to and they are reliable. If they fix something, they fix it right.

Tim and Zack arrived on time and immediately took out the old and replaced it with a new hot water heater. They were professional and personable. They made a good team. They checked for water pressure and leaks and, of course, there were none. When finished, they cleaned the area, took away the old hw heater. Tim explained the controls and the warranty.

it went great every time. Very courteous and professional gentlemen came out to the house, worked cleanly and efficiently, and making appointments with the office was always a breeze. This is a great plumbing service!

Used a snake & provided recommendations to reduce likelyhood of another event. We have used Summey in 2 houses we have lived in since we moved to Henderson county in 1991. Never had a negative experience. Professional, Honest Dependable. Not always the lowest price but well worth it.

Cost was more than we expected. We decided not to proceed with project.

Arrived a few hours after my call to them. They called to tell us they were on the way, had the part in their truck because they asked the make and model of the heater before making the call. They replaced the assembly and waited to be sure all was working well as the thermostat turned the heater on and off.

I called about 9:00 AM and explained my problem with the toilet. I got a call back in approximately a half hour scheduling the repair later in the day. I received a call from the technicians approximately 15 minutes before their scheduled arrival that they were on the way. After their arrival, they examined the toilet and said the parts in the tank should be replaced along with the connection to the bowl. I gave my approval. They cleaned the tank prior to installation of parts and upon completion vacuumed the area around the toilet.

I recommend Summey employees for being professional and courteous. Their work was excellent at a fair price.

Unknown to us, our water main had been broken and leaking 1000's of gallons for about 3 days and was running just below ground level due to a steep incline. This was a late Friday morning with a big storm coming. When I called, I was told it would probably not happen due to other scheduling but they would try. 45 minutes later they called back and said they would be right over and they were! In inclement weather on a Friday afternoon and they dug down, found the rupture, repaired it, added an access port for easier entry and were on their way in about an hour. They may be just a bit pricier than some others but in my opinion, WELL worth it for the quality of work and service! It should be noted I have used them before for more routine maintenance items and have always been satisfied.

I was very pleased with all contact with employees from Summey, from the sales rep to the installers. The sales rep was straight forward with me as to what was necessary and what I did NOT need to spend money on, which I greatly appreciated.

Excellent. They were great. Very professional, courteous and I would absolutely use them again. Price for me would be an "A" because they did several things for me. All plumbers are charging that these days. I called several plumbers and they were mid 80's to mid 90's per hour.

They did fine. They did a good job. I think we may have used them in the past. They did quality work.

Summey Plumbing has done work for me in the past that I was quite satisfied with, good work, knowledgable people, punctual, pricey but not unreasonably so. The ratings are based on those expereinces except for price wihich includes the following. Because my expereince with them had been postivie overall in the past, I called them to give me an estimate on installing two new natural gas lines in my home. They came out but I did not hear back from them for almost two weeks and then they gave this outrageous estimate for $2,200.00 to plumb the gas lines in. That was $1,400 higher than the next highest bid I received! In fairness the estimator said they would not be the cheapest bid but come on, if they don't want to do smaller jobs they should just say so and not waste customer's time.

The soil around our barn water faucet was always wet. We called Summey to diagnose and repair. They found a leak in the pipe leading to the outlet after hand digging a trench about 2.5 feet deep by 5 feet. They replaced the leaking pipe and put in a new faucet. Good, neat and professional job. We have used them at least 12 times over the past 15 years and have never had a bad experience.

They have come quickly when called, though like with many emergency services, try to avoid calling on the weekend if possible.

Courteous and very professional. Got the job done fast.

In the end, he was unable to fix the two problems. He said that the plumbing fixtures I had bought were defective. The lady in the office, negotiated a valve replacement from the hardware store, and it was re-installed a week later at no extra labor cost. This time the spout leak was fixed, but the diversion problem remains. I cannot afford to replace the plumbing valve with an upgraded one from another company at this time. I live in a double-wide manufactured home, 25 years old, and plumbing options are slim. Summey Plumbing did a great job of making do within the limits of my budget. Also, they are allowing me to pay off the bill at a rate of $75 per month.
