Once an appointment was set up, they were on time and did a thorough job. Some of the gutters were a little loose and they made sure they were reattached. Would definitely recommend! Hope to use them again in the future.

They were here about 30 minutes. The evaluation form was filled out and I was supposed to sign it. I did sign it but wrote on the form that I couldn't see what they had done. I was surprised that it could be done in 30 minutes. I spoke with someone right after I purchased the deal. He was very helpful but I was concerned about the quality of the work done at our home.

They came whenever they said they were going to, in fact they were couple of hours early and they called and let me know. The guy was friendly. and the work turned out fine.

The business owner contacted me within a couple of hours of my initial contact, which I appreciated. Matt was extremely pleasant to deal with, very accommodating of my scheduling needs, and is very professional in his business dealings. The job was done on schedule, the workers were polite and efficient, asking me to make sure the job was done to my satisfaction. Good people! I will certainly be calling them again.

The service turned out pretty well. He did arrive with only an hour of sunlight left and he whipped through the service. From what we can tell, he did a good job with the service. He was personable, nice and was a good guy. He did make an effort to get out there because the gutters were starting to freeze due to the weather. I appreciate the effort and that he got us in on a warm day.

No response and thus no work performed.

I purchased the $99 special on Angie's List. They promptly contacted me and we set up a date. The date had to be changed due to weather conditions and they came as soon as weather permitted. They kept in contact with me keeping me up to date. They were prompt, professional and performed the service quickly and to my satisfaction. I would use them again.

All of my extensive gutter system and complex roof area were expertly cleaned. In addition, the wire mesh covering the gutters was removed before cleaning and replaced afterwards. Also, my deck was cleared of debris at no additional cost, even though it was not included in the offer or requested by me. I was fully satisfied and will happily use their service again!

We set a date for service. This had to be changed because of weather. He let me know right away. He called & rescheduled in a few days. Showed up on time, did a great job, & was highly professional. I highly recommend him, and would definitely use him again. Also just seemed like a really nice man.

The company did a series of repairs and upgrades. Very professional crew that knew what they were doing. Excellent followup for a few loose ends. They were here when they said they would be and made several suggestion for needed work I had missed.

Smarts Repairs employees, Jim and James, performed the services I requested. My gutters needed cleaning and James removed several limbs from my garage roof as well. He did a really good job. Jim performed the carpentry work...cutting replacement quarter round molding for my floors as well as three thresholds. I had previously purchased the materials for the carpentry work. Jim did a great job of cutting the quarter round and thresholds. You really have to know what you are doing to properly cut quarter round. I would definitely use these two gentlemen to perform other work that I need to have completed in the spring. I would like for them to refurbish my deck and perform some outside painting for me. Monty, the company's owner, was fabulous with communications and scheduling. I knew that he was extremely busy with all of the responses he had received from the Angie's List special which luckily introduced me to his company; however, I did send him a text letting him know how pleased I was with the work his team performed.

I wasn't there at the time, so I didn't actually see what they did, but they sent me before and after pictures in an e-mail. The pictures looked great -- not a leaf in sight. Monty was very pleasant to deal with. I understand that his company is mainly in the business of doing home renovations (they're doing gutter-cleaning because this is a slow time of year for them). If and when I need any renovations done, I wouldn't hesitate to hire them.

We purchased a deal for deck design and eventually had Smart Repairs replace our old deck and install a new awning. While they were on the job, we also added some cabinetry work to install an over the range microwave and they replaced a broken storm door (and repaired another). We are very satisfied with the quality of the work and the professionalism of Monty and Greg and the crew. We are already planning more projects for Smart Repairs when the weather turns warmer.

Gutters were cleared of leaves as requested. They couldn't come for the first appointment because the weather was freezing and the service couldn't be performed. They said they would get us in the following Tuesday. Called Tuesday morning to say they were coming, and came as promised.

Wanted a covered front porch added to my home w/deck ending at my driveway. Blue Print w/specs of job to be provided by vendor. Twice Greg came out & Twice a computer printout was sent to me of what they thought I wanted. What was sent via Internet is not acceptable. No I will not use them for my project.

Greg came out to do the estimate and was a wealth of knowledge. You could tell that he really knew what he was talking about and had a lot of experience. He represented the company very well. Then Monty called and sent me the estimate and we scheduled a time for them to come. Greg and James came promptly at the scheduled time and had all of the appropriate supplies for the job. They got right to it and did a magnificent job. This particular porch was very difficult to get to and work on but they did a great job. They cleaned up after themselves and were very courteous. Finished price was same as estimate. Would definitely hire them again and recommend them to any of my friends or neighbors.

A small leak remained, and they came back and fixed that one.

The provider failed to contact us within 48 hours as promised, and then failed to respond at all to our follow-up messages. We had to request a refund of our deal purchase price.

Monty and his crew which included (but list not inclusive) Greg, Chris, Dale, Jim, and more, were all extremely professional. kind, decent guys and they all do quality work in carpentry and electrical. The porch is beautiful and very well constructed! The crew was always on time, very professional and comfortable to have around your house! Monty really and truly cares about your being happy and satisfied with his crew and the work they do. He is very present in the work and comes around almost daily to make sure everything is going as you hoped. If anything isn't as you hoped, he does what he needs to to make it right even if it is a cost to him. He works with you regarding price, and his quotes and final prices were far more reasonable than another company I interviewed for this work. They use quality materials. They are very honest. I also had a ceiling in my house that had detached from the rafters! Greg came and raised it, reattached it and was done in 1/2 a day. Then Chris came and repaired the nail holes and made it look great. I have those nasty popcorn ceilings and he did a wonderful job of repairing them. You have to know it was done to see it. Plus he also patched a few extra spots there were there from the previous owner! They also installed an outlet on my new porch as a bonus because the 1st remote to the fan didn't work and I had to wait a few days for the new one! :) I will hire them again and would be happy to act as a reference for their work and professionalism and because they are just simply a good bunch of hard workers who do great work and are very comfortable to have around.

Ordered 11 inside mount shades without knowing I had barely enough room for this type of installation. Never met Monty, but Dale from his crew worked out the inside mounting problem. All 11 were hung and they look great and are secured. Thanks for thinking outside the box!

He wasn't able to help with this job, but, was so very helpful, above and beyond any reasonable expectation. Very pleased with his responsiveness and helpfulness.

First the cover to the kitchen was about 2/3 the size we desired. Second, they cut the eves off at the wrong angle to the rest of the house. Third, the post supporting the cover were 3" out of plum from ground to top. The next day all was promptly fixed buy re-cutting the eves which made the cover even shorter and notching the post which worked okay. As for the wood work for Roofing by Joe, it's about what you would expect when a electrician is trying to be a carpenter which was the case here, not so good. The co-worker here must have told me he was a civil engineer a dozen times if once and that would explain why he didn't know how to use a level when setting the post for the kitchen cover.
