Ok, the two plumbers that showed up were professional and easy to deal with, and it did help solve the problem I was having. There was nothing blocking the pipe, it turned out to be a simple screw in vent that is under the sink, a $25 part. They did not have the part. I went to Lowe's later that day and purchased and replaced it myself. They were there 10 minutes and charged me $140, seemed like a bit much for what they did or didn't do. The only other complaint I would have had would be the initial lack of response, which may not have even been their fault, it could be Angie's List for all I know. I initially contacted them through the Angie's list site (email) late one evening thinking I would get a call sometime the next day, that never happened. The day after that I called them and asked if they ever got my email, they said no, so who knows. I told them they may want to check with Angie's List and make sure they have the correct contact info. From that point on they were very responsive and solved my problem.

Sewer line works just fine and have not had problems since.

The people were pleasant and easy to work with. The first workman could not find the major blockage but cleaned out roots. Since the line seemed to go onto a neighbor's yard which would necessitate getting permission to dig, he called his boss to investigate and come up with another plan. They communicated with my daughter at work over the phone. Eventually, they found the source of the blockage, baby wipes, close to the manhole which was still in my daughter's yard and not the neighbor's. They cleaned out the blockage and charged close to $500. They recommended two clean out valves be installed at the cost of another $400 approximately. This has not been done so far.
