Mr. O'Neil arrived on April 13, 2016, pulled the tree upright with a cable and his truck and secured it with two anchors embedded in the tree on one end and in the ground on the other. A short time later I noticed the anchors had pulled out of the ground and I called Mr. O'Neil. Although he did not return my call he showed up several weeks later with very large anchors and very thick cable, both of the type used by the telephone company. He again pulled the tree into an approximately vertical position and secured it with the new cables and anchors. About a month later I observed that one of the new cables had gone slack. I called Mr. O'Neil and reported the issue. No response. After several weeks I called again and left another message. It's now been several weeks with no response. I am saddened and very disappointed. Mr. O'Neil clearly is a very knowledgable and competent certified arborist. To my knowledge he is the only trained arborist in the area. Unfortunately, his communication skills are sadly lacking. I've used Pinnacle Tree Service in the past and have been satisfied with their technical work. But, as in this case, professional communication is not one of their skills. I question whether I could use Pinnacle Tree Service in the future. I do not consider this current project completed to my satisfaction and because of the lack of communication I've been unable to discuss the matter with Mr. O'Neil
Description of Work: A tall spruce tree (50-feet?) had tilted and the roots on one side had lifted out of the ground. There seemed to be two options: 1. Cut down the tree and remove the stump or 2. Pull the tree upright and brace it with cables anchored in the ground. We opted to keep the tree and secure it with cables.
