It went extremely well. The vendor I purchased the hot tub from said that the solution to the problem would be to purchase a new hot tub. Charles came out and recommend that I should not even consider replacing the hot tub since is in excellent condition. Instead they ordered the needed part to repair. Will came out and installed the parts and the hot tub is running now saving me at least $6,000 to $8,000 for the purchase of a new hot tub. I am extremely pleased and highly recommend calling One Call Spa Services for all hot tub repairs.

The work went fine however we discovered we had a faulty control panel as well plus a lingering slow leak. Charles Coniguliaro, the owner of One Call Spa Services, and I discussed either fixing the existing problems with the spa being almost 14 years old or replacing it with a new one. I was skeptical of what it would take to remove the old one as it was in a tough location on the side of a mountain behind our home. Charles said he could do it however they would have to do it slow and careful. He offered to remove it and even give some trade in value for the old spa to offset the money I had already spent with him for the heater repair and new cover. He did not push the sale and said he could go either way (fix it or replace it) and it was entirely up to me. I decided I would like to replace the spa due to its age plus I wanted some new features. He and four of his men removed the spa last week without any issues. I am ordering a new spa with Charles this week to be installed hopefully in about 8 weeks. I am excited I found Charles on Angie's List and the only reason I am ordering a new spa is that I will have his company here to help me maintain it in the years to come. Charles, Elyse - his Admin Asst, and Will - one of his technicians have been very personable and professional. I highly recommend this company.

They were very professional. He has a very streamlined operation. It was very easy to work with. He has a website you go through scheduling and you kind of know what to expect when they show up. The work they did turned out perfect. It was fine.
Description of Work: The pool people or the hot tub guy was One Call Spa Service. We had lightning damage and they came in and replaced some of the electronics on the hot tub.

One Call Spa Services installed my Hot Tub. They have given me personal training on how to treat the tub. They have fixed and repaired any issues with the tub. They have been prompt with there service. Love One Call Spa Services!!
Description of Work: I bought a refurbished hot tub from One Call Spa Service. They came out to install the tub and made sure that all the parts were working correctly. Due to my soft water, the heating element Corroded. Charles came out immediately and fix the problem. They have been awesome to work with and have gone above and beyond to make sure that the tub is working correctly. I would highly recommend One Call Spa Services!!

I love the online appointments. They ask you several questions about where the electrical is etc. so they know if you need to be home or not. They didn't need me at home while they did their assessment which was great. Sent someone out and corrected the issue while there, wasn't that major so they fixed it for us while there. Got a follow up call from the service person to let us know that they had been there and what they had done. Invoice came to my email address. It was AWESOME!!!
Description of Work: Our hot tub was not running. He came and assessed the situation. Knew it wasn't that big of a deal ( had to prime the motor) so fixed while he was there. He also checked to make sure that we had no other issues - heating, jets heads working etc.

they arrived on time and went to work and were very nice and professional. first of all we have a spa that is 20 plus years old and knew nothing about and called the company because the water would not heat. he gave us a call and ask us to send him a picture of the heating element and he would take a look at it instead of driving out and charging us for a service call. he told us what to try first and when it didn't work he ordered us a new heating system and came and installed it when it came in. the tech. took the time to show us how to work everything and even helped get my grandson out of the front yard so he would not get hurt. I will use this company again for all of our spa needs. it was a pleasant experience for us , especially being new to a spa.

It all started out fine. We wanted a "new" (to us) hot tub, but didn't want to pay the new prices. Plus, we had specific dimensions we needed. So we searched Craigslist in our local area. This guy has quite a few refurbished tubs. With a warranty. Sounds like a dream come true. Two months into our "new" tub, we're sitting in it one evening, and the power goes, and shortly thereafter, all the water starts pouring out from underneath. I don't know what it takes to make a hot tub emergency, but that did it for me. So it was a Saturday evening about 8:30 PM. We immediately came in and both called and emailed him to let him know what was going on. Of course, I would have loved to have had an immediate phone call back, but I didn't get one. Didn't get one Sunday either, but I still wasn't mad at that point. However, by 10:30 AM Monday morning, the honeymoon was over. According to his webpage, his business opens at 8 AM so he'd had more than enough time to call us back and say he was sorry we had this terrible thing happen and he was totally all over it, as per our warranty. But no call. So I emailed his business, practically begging for someone to tell me when I might expect help, since sitting by the phone hoping for help sucks. After several very reasonable emails on my part, a woman who works for the company finally responded by telling me he wasn't coming out that day. So my husband continued to call the guy, Charles, until he got Charles to say that "we should call him that evening to take pictures and send them to him and he MIGHT BE ABLE TO TALK US THROUGH FIXING IT OURSELVES". So much for a warranty. Not that it mattered...because when my husband came home and took pictures, Charles failed to answer our calls. Until 8:30, then he called us back, but of course, it was dark then. So he told my husband he's coming out to our house between 4 and 5:30 the next day. He finally got here around 7:45. Dark again. And guess what? Our entire problem was caused by them having used a FUSE to plug a hose, which should have been connected to something else entirely and clamped properly. He treated us like a charity case, because we had already paid upfront. Which wouldn't have been an issue, if he'd properly fixed the tub to begin with. If you want to buy a tub from the guy, just remember to negotiate for a price that doesn't include a warranty, because you aren't getting much of one (if any) anyways. And maybe take the panels off and check for jerry-rigging before you hand over the money (which they are more than helpful with). In any case, lesson learned on our part. Warranty or not, I will NOT be calling them for service in the future. I pay good money and I want something fixed right. And I want service that treats me right, instead of acting like I'm bothering them. LESSON LEARNED.

As the proud owner of One Call Spa Services for 19 years, I must admit that I am new to "Online Presence", "Reviews" and Social Media. The above review (from 2012) is the catalyst for my recent association with Angie's List (2015) as well as my new commitment to becoming significantly more engaged in our businesses online visibility, advertising and persona. I was unaware of this review, how to be notified of reviews or that I could follow up on reviews until this past week in working with a representative from Angie's List. I would like to mention from the onset that in all of my dealings both by phone, text and in person had been with Mr.Customer and not with Mrs. who left this review. Mr. Customer and I had met in person, more than once and talked extensively prior to the purchase of the hot tub and certainly a good bit leading up to the delivery and set up of the spa as well as once or twice after the spa had been installed to go over some common care questions, a rather friendly relationship. Customers considering a "Used/Refurbished Spa" have a increased level of confidence in purchasing something "used" after they learn that One Call Spa Services has been doing spa repair, maintenance, factory/dealership authorized warranty work,hot tub deliveries and hot tub installations across central NC, western NC and upsate SC for 19 Years. The idea of saving money, having a warranty and working with a well established business is both appealing and significantly more advantageous than going it alone when buying a item like a hot tub. The extensive experience we have coupled with a "small business" feel give potential customers a sense of comfort when making a hot tub purchase. I believe that the reviewer had unrealistic expectations with regard to communication and response time. The facts are that from the time the spa issue arose to the time it was fully repaired under warranty was 4 days and less than 36 hours from the time our company became aware of the issue. The above review should be considered with a few KEY facts in mind. #1 The office administrator called & replied to Mrs.(The Reviewer) Monday morning at 10:00 am within minutes of becoming aware of the service request to let the her know we had received multiple emails & voice mails from her since Saturday evening and that the spa would be fixed, however the office could not commit to it being fixed that day. #2 The customer was advised that I was in Greenville SC 70 miles away working on a two day project & that they would here from me personally that day. #3 I picked up my messages at Lunch spoke with the office and called Mr.Customer to explain that I was on a job in Greenville SC till Tuesday & that I could head over when done on Tuesday...OR maybe it was something minor I could walk him through over the phone, which we agreed to do after 8:00pm. #4 Mrs.emailed the following to the office on Monday, the same day we became aware that service was needed and after she was told that I would be in touch and after I had spoken with Mr. Customer. What's a realistic time for us to wait for a response before we find another repair guy, and just send the bill to you #5 The spa was repaired & back up and running with 36 hours of becoming aware of the problem. #6 As is documented on every sale and as is our policy the spa was fixed under warranty.The cause of the spa problem was in fact a plug on a secondary hose that did not get clamped down tight enough. The cause was our fault and was repaired under warranty obliviously at no charge. I am pleased to say that at the end of the service call with the spa fixed as promised, I received an apology from Mr.Customer for being a (expletive-his words) and the excessive calls. I was glad to have the spa repaired and the customer happy and considered the matter closed. I have since learned that the very night the spa was repaired was the night this defaming review was posted and will be visible till 9/25/15 on Angie's List. I consider it to be inaccurate, unfair as well as defamatory. Being in business for 19 years you learn that "treating people the way you want to be treated" works 99% of the time and the other 1% of the time makes you so thankful for the vast majority of your customers !! I am confident that we did all we could do as quick as it could be done. I am equally as confident that we did EXACTLY what we said we would do when we said we would do it and conducted ourselves professionally and with courtesy. We will continue to improve and grow.
