Konko's Custom Cabinetry

I'm so lucky and happy I found Paul Konko and brothers. I have the most beautiful granite, with one seam. Other local establishments, quote professional designers were trying to sell me with two seams, claiming it was impossible. These guys are total professionals, used the exact granite that I wanted, I can't be more happy. Beautifully cut. Beautiful cabinet makers too. They were able to repair my cabinets as well. Impressive work! Highly recommend.

You said you wanted to know, even if we had just spoken with them so far. I am getting estimates on a number of home improvements. I asked Paul Konko for an estimate on kitchen cabinets (building new ones ($7k), refacing ($5k), or painting ($1700 - wood has stain now and would have to be cleaned)), and building two storage cabinets (pantry and in bedroom). He was more confident and detailed than anyone else thus far, with sketches and detailed descriptions. I don't know whether I will be able to afford him, although given what I have seen so far, he would be my first choice. I may have to use someone who can do the plumbing and everything just for costs sake, but I haven't received the final estimates yet, so we'll see. I just wanted to put in a good word for him now because I can tell that he is very skilled and takes pride in his work. He listens and thinks of things that I hadn't thought of. He has a shop in Hendersonville and invited me to come by and see some of his work. More later....

This entire family is with you from start to finish. Their attitude is very good, they work with you to get the most and best cabinets that they possibly can. Their prices are fair and they are punctual. I will never use another cabinet company.

We went to the business to see samples and they came to measure before an estimate. There was a communication error about a final detail where we waited a good while for them to get back to us while they thought we would get back to them. Otherwise things went smoothly and we weren't on a schedule so it didn't bother us that much. However it is important to know that English is not the first language here so be very clear in everything communicated. They are pleasant to work with and hardworking and do a good job.

This is one excellent outfit to use when you want any type of carpentry done. They made the most beautiful solid Maple cabinets for me. They gave great suggestions on the design work and knew just what I wanted. I am extremely pleased with the outcome and I highly recommend them.
