Description of Work: Scheduled an apt ASAP, and the salesperson came to our home within 10 days week. Salesperson very knowledgeable about HVAC. Calculated estimate in front of us. He scheduled the install by the end of that week. Install took 1.5 days. Horizon submitted all the paperwork to get us the available rebates!

My contract was for all new duct work. The owner told me it would be no problem and that his guys could ge the whole house cool in the summer and warm in the winter. After the job was finished, he informed me that they could not install new duct work to the spare bedroom because the crawl space was too small. He would not have told me this, but one of his workers said that they did not install the duct work to that room. When I called to ask if the job was complete, the owner said yes, all done. He became really rude to me when I asked why the duct work had not been installed to that room. His response was that the guys can't get back there to do it. I asked why he had told me that they could fix it if he knew the crawl space was too small. He took a lot of pictures when he was uunder the house the first time, so why promise me something you can't do?? He did try to get the air flow better in that room, but used an old trick of squeezing off the duct work to make it seem like that air flow was better. That room stayed hot the rest of the summer and now that it's cold out, it is really cold, much colder than the rest of the house. The owner's response was very impolite and he still has not fixed the problems. During the inspection, he sent another guy over here with the inspector. That guy confirmed that they had tried to make it seem like the air flow was better than it was, that the duct work was laying on the ground instead of tacked up and that there are ways to get the air flow better to that spare room. He said that he would do everything he could to "make the job right." I talked to that guy tonight after the workers came back to fix what the inspector said had to be fixed. He hung up on me after I confronted him with the fact that only 80% of the duct work was replaced, which is what he told me tonight. He said he felt backed into a corner and then hung up. I was trying to be polite, but this issue just keeps going on and on and never gets resolved. This guy that came to the house with the inspector said he really hoped that I had not written this situation up on Angie's list or anything like that. He says that the owner is "not ususally like this." I told him I had not done that, but after he hung up on me tonight and did not complete the work he said he would do, I AM writing this.
