The guy who came was very nice. He told me about the unit and stuff like that. We do have a leak in one of the lines in the air conditioning but he said that is so small that cost of having it checked out would be so high that I need not bother with it. He was honest. He actually came within a couple of hours.

It was great. We signed up for a yearly program of inspections and will use this company to provide repairs when needed.

He was very thorough. He provided a free filter as part of the inspection, which a lot of companies don't include. He answered all my questions, spent time with me discussing my heating system. I ended up signing a yearly contract with them and was very pleased with their service.

A whole house energy audit showed we needed more insulation in the attic, as well as air sealing the ductwork in the crawlspace. After taking care of the attic (big job!), we moved on to the ductwork. Horizon was the third company we called about doing the work. If we had called them first, there would have been no need for the other estimates. Marc inspected the ductwork and told us what needed to be done ... and how the air leaks would be sealed for greater efficiency. He gained our confidence and trust - so we gave Horizon the job. So glad we did! The two technicians who did the work were "as good as they get". Punctual, courteous, and respectful - they worked effectively and efficiently in getting the job done. We felt confident in their work from the moment they arrived. The same kind of confidence we had in Marc when we discussed what needed to be done. It was because of this excellent and productive first encounter with Horizon that we decided to give them our future heating and air conditioning business. Horizon puts customer needs first - before profits. It shows in everything they do - and how they do it. We couldn't ask for a better heating and air conditioning company. We feel lucky to have found them through Angies List.

It was done quickly and expertly done. Had them back to do additional work with the duck work. They were responsive and completed the work in a timely manner.

Buck arrived on time, was professional and very pleasant. He informed us about the probable small leak and that it might be expensive to locate and fix. Presently we would be alright by just adding the gas. He explained how the heat pump worked and was very understanding that since we are retired and did not want to spend a lot of money that this would be the less expensive way. We also signed up for the twice a year inspection as the unit is about 10 years old. We will continue to use Horizon in the future. Also Debbie is also very nice on the phone, she and Buck made the day as I called and within hours our unit was working.

For this company to be less than 5 yrs old, they did a GREAT JOB from the start to the finish. Im new to Angies List, and its been hard to find recent surveys in our area for various needs. This company showed up on time, they delivered everything that was listed on our contract to be done!! and id like to add it was done to our satisfaction. . They made it clear by their work, that we were what was important to them. They did all this work in 2 days! WOW When you do a big job like this one, things dont always go perfect, but they always were their to listen and have the few areas of concern corrected . They stand behind their companies image to putting the customer first., you dont see this often. I stand behind this review 100 percent

Once we got on their schedule all went very well. The service person was very professional. Came as schedules with a pre call to ensure we were home. Efficiently found and replaced a part that was not working as needed in our air conditioning unit and replaced our filters. The only think we were a bit disappointed with was that after paying for the spring/fall maintenance contract back in April, we waited for a call to set up the spring maintenance appointment. We finally called in June to set up the appointment. The person my husband spoke with said they were very busy and were not able to get to everyone to set up the appointments. The appointment was set up for the following week. Possibly our understanding was incorrect that Horizon after receiving our payment in advance for the service would reach out to us to set up the appointment.

They gave us the facts on what units we want.

Very pricey, subcontractor only charged for the actual fix, not the assessment but seems like we were charged for much more. Why not just hire the subcontractor?

They got couple of technicians that are really good.

Service technician showed up promptly at appointed time. after explaining the problem, he figured out the problem and fixed it quickly. He explained the problem to us and made some minor adjustments to the furnace to help avert a repeat of the problem. Very good service and prompt response.

Horizon is a totally professional service company. I've tried several HVAC providers in Hendersonville but these folks are the absolute best. They provide complete information in advance of the job and then follow through on every exacting detail. Horizon is completely into customer satisfaction and that is unusual these days.

Still dealing with thermostat; bought new one and still problems.

When our HVAC would not work, Horizon came and tried a quick fix. It worked for a day, but then failed again. We were able to do the same quick fix that he did while we waited for the needed part. The technician came back within a couple of days and replaced the bad circuit board. They only charged us labor for the initial visit and, of course, the part they installed.

Excellent service. The woman on the phone was pleasant and took all my information and scheduled an appointment within a few days. She advised a service contract in which they come out every 6 months, once in the fall to service the furnace and once in the spring for the AC. The contract customers subsequently get a reduced price on parts and priority if something goes wrong. The serviceman arrived at exactly the time they had scheduled (none of the waiting around for 4-5 hours). He was friendly, pleasant and used to be an instructor in the heating and cooling business and was more than happy to answer my questions about how things worked and what I needed to know about the unit. The $145 fee is for both of the routine yearly visits.

Dan came out and gave us all the details and quoted us a price. Gave us a time frame and then delivered exactly what he had told us he would. Installation took about two and a half days..his crew was a really nice bunch of guys,did not leave a mess when they left! Very professional and we would recommend them to anyone. I would give a++ if I could.

The furnace was making strange moaning noises during a bitter cold weekend. Called a couple of companies on Angie's List but Horizon was the one who came through for us. Although the other service provider refused to touch the furnace because it was "too old" (and they wanted to sell me a new system) the Horizon tech ID'd the problem immediately, did some cleaning, changed the oil filter and the furnace was purring again. LOVE this company (and honestly will probably buy an updated system from them eventually).

I have recommended them to others and they recommended me to a good plumber. The people on the phones are incredibly nice and they return your calls immediately, and the office staff is very responsive. I have a service contract with them. The technicians are very professional, very personable, and they put booties over their shoes. They clean up their mess and show up on the time they say they will be arriving. They are exactly how they should be.

They are very thorough. We have been using them for a year and a half. We shopped around and their prices are the most reasonable.

From the first repair person to the sales person to the installers I was impressed with their knowledge. I felt comfortable and knew they could be trusted. They were the second opinion, following McNutt. I've used McNutt for years, but since the company was sold, their service has not been the same. There was just no comparison. Horizon is my new heating and a/c company.

I saw that Horizon Heating & Air Conditioning had good reviews here on Angie's List. I went with this company because some of their employees worked with another heating and air conditioning company that we dealt with before. Those are people that we liked and we were pleased with their work when they worked with that company. The woman I talked to in the office even told me that she remembers me. She sent me the contract immediately. They were written with the quotes that she had given me. So everything went very smoothly.
