Very pleasant office staff. The techs were prompt and professional. It turns out the drains were so gloved with tree roots the could not be cleaned. They will give an estimate for replacing them.

They changed our outside spigots. So far everything is great.

I presume this is a franchise, so I can only speak to the operation in Asheville, NC. The owner spent a good deal of time examining the area and current equipment needing replacement, gave me a few alternatives described in detail in writing with prices and models, and was more reasonably priced than another highly reputed operation. The work was done quickly, cleanly and the welds all looked excellent. He had a separate electrician install a circulating timer, who was also clean and efficient. I am quite pleased with the result, and the new water heater has so far worked without any problems.

I experienced an unexplained clear water leak in my crawl space. Hired one plumber, who could not find the problem and charged me $75. Called three area plumbers and Ben Franklin was the only one willing to tackle the problem. The others did not have the courtesy to return my call. Phillip wasted no time in diagnosing a three-fold problem: leaking shower drain and toilet, and a corroded and possibly leaking ice maker connection. He promptly made the necessary repairs within several hours. He even climbed onto the roof to check the vents seals on a recently installed roof, running water around one under suspect. He even advised me that I did not need some very pricey outside foundation drainage job, suggested by my roofer. I was very impressed with the promptness, courtesy, and giving me a heads-up of any unavoidable delays, calling me within minutes of eta. At this time, I have a dry crawl space again. If you are a women alone and/or senior citizen,who has experienced being taken advantage of, do not hesitate to call Phillip. You can trust him to tell you the truth and do the corrections in a very competent manner. I have signed on for a yearly maintenance program with him and will certainly call him again if needed, and know I will receive the same excellent service. That is a reasurance you do not find often!!
