Window Gang

The company's telephone number is (919) 722-6040. Other number is (252) 355-6654. They originally came to my house and on 11/15/2012. After they finished I spot checked areas on the main floor and had them reclean some areas that I noticed were not clean. I did not check every window because I had used them twice before with great results. When I noticed some of the windows had spots on them I went out to clean them myself and found spots on almost every window! I called the company and they said they would send them out for a " redo" and we agreed on 11/21/2012 around 10AM. Well at 1:32pm the company called and said they were in the area and they would stop by. I explained that it was several windows that had spots it was then that Heather told me that if the spots needed to be scraped off that would cost as much as $4.00 extra per window. I pointed out that this had never been an issue in the past and that I had never washed a window in my live that I did not have a razor blade with me to lightly scrape off small dots or spots that were more adherent than just plain dirt or dust. Heather replied that the persons from Window Gang in the past might have done this as a curtesy but that it was not Window Gangs policy to use anything other than a squeegee. Well the men just came and did get out their ladder to clean the dirt they admitted they missed on the small half round and guess what IT IS STILL DIRTY! I wonder how clean their cleaning fluids and tools are? Now I still have a lot of windows myself and guess what with white paper towels and Glass Perfect glass cleaner a little elbow grease the spots are coming off. I think it is a shame after paying a company $310.00 that A 53 year old woman recovering from breast cancer has to go outside to complete a job to young men did not do themselves! 3eWell I am removing their number from my phone list of contacts and I will be looking for a new contact on Angie's List.
