Enclosed a back porch

1) The fence was done very poorly. The top of the fence only had 1 secure wire that attached the wire to the top pole which basically ended up with just the fence propped against the top pole. The driveway gate had to be r-done 3 or 4 times. The first time, the gate was all bent out of shape and did not hangh evenly with the other half of the gate, I was chargded 150.00 for this repair. The second time he came it, his guys set the gate too far apart and we had to use chains to keep it together, he charges $695.00 for this repair. The third time he came out, he set the poles way too close together and we had to cave the pole in with a hammer in order to lock it and close it all the way. There were several sections that were not secured at the bottom part of the poles which left huge gaps in the fencing.2) The porch he built was not built within The City of Henderson Building and Zoning Codes. In fact he never even attempted to get the permits or even inquire about permits. I got two notices of violations in the mail which costs me $250.00 to request hearing to prevent from having to remove the porch completely. The porch was completed in early May 2012 and bu June 2012 every single support post has a crack in the wood from top to bottom. The handrails have warped and are splinterring. The ceiling has cracks in the wood and is busting up. Some of the support post are lose and can be moved back and fourth. He used all different types of wood which created a very un uniform like appearance. The pickets are not evenly spaced. Nails are popping out. The wood has started to separate where its nailed together around the corners. The vinyl trimming is coming off the roof edge.3) The wood he used for the enclosure is not intended for outdoor use. Its wood chips and glue so its starting to buckle. He quoted me a $650.00 price and we agreed to the price and I signed the paperwork for the price of $650.00 AFter it was completely constructed, he billed for $1650.00 instead and had told me he forgot to tell his workers to stay within a $650.00 price range. I never in any way agreed to 1650.00Needless to say we are going to court to settle this. Check him out, he has had several lawsuits brought against him. His workers are all prior criminals or drunks. Do not use this company.
