"Chad S from Lee's Painting came to our house after he reached out to us from Angi's list. He came up a two different quotes..for outside painting and caulking around the chimney $700..then he said he would sand and revarnish our inside ceiling for a total of around $2000. We agreed. He then told us he needed cash of $200 to purchase supplies..he followed us to our bank and even went inside, where we handed him $200 cash. He was supposed to return the following day but did not, instead, we received a call from him saying he was at Home Depot and needed more supplies than he thought and requested that we give Home Depot our credit card number to cover the additional supplies...our credit card was charged $155.24 on 2/6/25. He simply never came back to our home. He contacted us twice saying he couldn't come because of "daughter" issues, then another time due to problems at home. After he never showed up we asked for our money back, he texted me asking for my Venmo and said he would repay but never did. We have made several attempts to contact him but he will not respond, either by phone or text. Finally, just this morning 3/5/25 he answered his phone (I think because he did not know it was us)..we told him we wanted our money back..he just hung up! I now believe he is a scammer..it sure feels that way."

"They did an ok job, however, a tip, have the workers wash the windows after power washing. I have 25 windows, they were a MESS. The cleaning solution was allowed to dry in the hot Georgia sun and heat. It took me quite a bit of time to get them clean after the workers left that Sunday. A few days later once all had dried, they came back for the stain/ sealer application to the house, garage and decking. We had our cars parked at the very end of the driveway. No one covered our cars or told us to OR to move them further away. There was not even a slight breeze that hot August day, 2019, so the stain must have just drifted in the air. Our vehicles were COVERED with stain. The worst part were the windshields, which when you drove them, if there was ANY sun coming in at all, you saw hundreds/ thousands of itty-bitty rainbow colored sparklies with a brown undertone, which was the Australian Timber OIl in Honey Teak. Visibility was extremely poor when the sun was coming into the windshield. My daughter in law got her new windshield last week, I get mine next week, a $250 extra expense EACH that was totally preventable. PLUS, our cars are still covered with the stain/ sealer, it was just the most important to replace the windshields for proper visibility. PLEASE, keep this in mind if you are having this type of work done. We thought we were parked far enough away, NOPE. Just a little forethought or a word from the painters could have and would have PREVENTED this. Thank you for basically an over-all good job though."
