If you want the quick summary: first rate. Excellent customer service. Very informative. Kept to schedule. We made an offer on a house with a septic system. We were referred to RSC for an inspection. On the initial inspection, many problems were found: half the system didn?t work, it was never made to code, tank partially under the driveway, etc. In a short period of time, RSC was able to help us define the problems and solution such that we could go back to the seller and negotiate the new system. Had we not known that info prior to closing, we would have been in for a costly surprise. Prior to this, all I knew about septic systems was that poop flows downhill. I started from scratch reading about things and then Sonya answered MANY of my questions and gave me quite an education. She was exceptionally patient with my questions and made sure I understood the issues and what we needed to do. We learned that the county health department makes the rules. Sonya and RSC helped us get through the inspections and permitting. Once the county told us what we needed to do, RSC got us there. Sonya laid out all the details, costs, etc. I checked "good" on the price category only because it was quite expensive. That wasn't RSC's issue; that's what the county said we must do. Our only problem was the weather. Right when we were to start installation of the new system, it started raining. Every time it looked like things would dry out, it rained some more. I?m sure this was far more frustrating for RSC than for us in that they could only sit by and wait for dry weather. Their schedules got pushed back on many jobs. Once it was dry, they started on time and kept me updated on the progress. I asked even more questions and Sonya continued to be patient and helpful. I was only able to be on site for the first few hours. The workmen were punctual and got right to work. They were quite friendly for a cold, windy early morning and considering that their first task was to remove an old non-functional septic tank. I wouldn?t hesitate to recommend RSC to you. Professional, informative, straight up-front info and costs and followed the job through as a professional should. Call them!
Description of Work: Replace a non-functional septic system with a low pressure pump system which the county health department said we must use.
