Pleasant Air serviced our AC unit in January. When the tech arrived he said we needed a fan replacement and that he had just done the same thing at another home, it would only be about $200. A day later he called and somehow the replacement was $900. We didn’t initially notice a problem other than the unit sounding a bit strange. However, as the months got warmer we noticed that for some reason our air wasn’t blowing very cool and couldn’t get lower than 75 degrees. We called O’Brien to come service the unit this time after our experience with Pleasant Air. The O’Brien tech just looked at the unit and said, “ the polarity is backwards. The unit is sucking in hot air instead of pulling it out.” The O’Brien tech asked if we would like to call Pleasabt Air back to have them fix their own mistake ( to save us the money of him having to do it). When we called Pleasant Air, the female manager claimed she didn’t believe us, and that there would have been more issues if it had been true. She says we would still be charged a service fee for them to fix the mistake THEY made. I’m shocked that a local business finds this treatment acceptable. We will MEVER use Pleasant Air again and we have told everyone locally about their dishonestly and lack of integrity.

Had this company not been smart and inventive, we would have had to demolish parts of our home in order to add rooms. They were extremely helpful, trustworthy, and pleasant. They showed up on the days with the worst working conditions (heat, rain, etc.) and still provided exemplary service.

We have them all the time. We've used them for almost 20 years. They come when we need them. We've had quite a few problems lately now that the system is getting older. Their price is within the range of what it should be.

I called for an estimate to replace my HVAC system. Immediately Todd LaForest, Sales Rep, called, made an appointment, was punctual, professional, knowledgeable. He NEVER called back; never gave me a proposal. Rather strange.

They did a really wonderful job from the initial consultation to the installation and were very professional. We were given several options to chose from for our 1800 square foot home, but due to energy efficiency issues and comfort we decided to go with a 15 seer Trane. Installation took about three days, but we were only without air conditioning for about two days. The guys were very nice, professional and cleaned up after themselves every day. They do quality work fixing the disasters builders install in new homes. Our builder grade system was only about 3 years old and was already having problems so we just decided to take it out since there is no use fixing something every few months that is already on its last leg. Before the installation of the Trane we were spending a lot of money keeping our AC set on about 80 degrees. Now the thermostat is at a comfortable 76 degrees all the time and our electric bill has gone down by about 30 to 40 dollars a month! It feels colder than 76 degrees and sometimes we have to turn it up a little. The system is much more quiet than the previous one and you cant even tell its on until you feel cold air. My interior doors no longer suck closed when the AC comes on and the house feels much more dry and less humid. I just cannot say enough good things about the Trane HVAC and this company. Pleasant air will give you an exact quote and it will not cost more than that. You don't have to worry about there being some sort of and quot;surpriseand quot; when you get the bill. They are a very honest company in my opinion. We were able to get two rebates for the system we purchased, one was from Trane and the other from Progress Energy. This wasn't factored into the quote so once all the rebates were in place it was actually less than what was quoted. The Trane rebate was instant and the Progress Energy rebate had to be mailed in with a receipt. It took about three weeks to get the check. The rebates are factored into the approximate cost I entered above. We are very happy with our purchase and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

They do a good job. They are very well reputed.

They are outstanding and we really like them a lot. We have them on a yearly retainer. They have kept our heating and air conditioning units functionally without failing for approximately 9 years. They are so good that we haven't even checked prices with anyone else. They call when they are coming and they come when they say they are coming. They are definitely professional. They are a good company.

They are located on Sloop Point Road in Hampstead, North Carolina. I was pleased with them. They do general maintenance now. I signed a contract with them.
