Description of Work: We replaced our heat pump unit. They did a great job, which involved working in small, tight spaces. They had to customize a bit. Very pleased with their customer service.

+ -1 moreI have been using them since 2008 and had good experiences. I have had a few emergencies since then and most of the time they are able to accommodate you. They are one of the only gigs in town, so they tend to be busy.
Description of Work: Sorry, but I can't remember the cost. They installed a new AC unit, which came with a 10-year warranty.

+ -1 moreThey came out on a weekend, which is pretty unusual, and I did not get any extra charges for the weekend. They said they would be back that afternoon, and they were, and they gave a time by which they would complete the work, and they were on schedule. They had to order the fan unit which they did.
Description of Work: We used Gideon's Heating and Air. We were having some issues with cooling in both the upstairs and downstairs unit, and it was basically opening the house up for summer, and they put freon in one unit, and a fan motor in another unit.

+ -1 moreThe price is unknown since it was part of a package deal with the general contractor. The only downside was that the heat pump being utilized stopped working one day after the tech had left. The company was responsive to send someone back to clear the problem. Since then everything has worked fine.
Description of Work: We enclosed a covered porch and one of the Heat Pumps was used to provide HVAC to the new room, with its own thermostat.

+ -1 moreGideon's Heating and Air Conditioning is very responsive and do extremely good work. The only negative thing that I can say about them, and it's not even a big negative, is the closest you'll get from them as far as an arrival time is about a 3 to 4 hour window and most of the time their within that and sometimes they'll a little out, but they are in demand. It's not a problem. They do extremely good work and are very personable. They're professional and they know what their doing.

+ -1 moreI was initially pleased with their service and professionalism when they came out. Unfortunately, when I turned on the unit, it was still not cooling effectively so I called them back. They again sent someone out who said that some wires were damaged that were not damaged when they first came out. Since I had not used the unit since their initial repair, I thought it should have been covered under their first call but they did not agree and charged me for the service call.
