+ 0 moreExcept for fact that some shingles did not lie down properly we were initially happy with the installation. However, at the time of the installation Mr Tommy Cox stated that after exposure to summer sun the shingles would lie down properly. We waited until July 2011 to see if shingles would lie down properly. In July 2011 we started calling Mr. Cox and asked him to take care of the problem (shingles not lying down properly). He never came to take care of the problem. Subsequently we had another general contractor take care of the problem. We also learned from another Allstate customer that Allstate might not have had adequate liability insurance when they were at our site even thought Mr. Cox claimed to have it. We cannot prove that this is true but wouldn't doubt it.
Description of Work: Allstate roofing has never responded (as of 1/5/12) to complaints that some shingles did not lie down properly. We finally had another contractor take care of the problem. Also, subsequently learned (from another Allstate customer) that Allstate roofing might not have proper liability insurance even though they claimed to have it. Allstate Roofing reshingled our roof in approximately October 2011

+ -1 moreRoofer (Tommy Cox) promised that shingles would "laydown" properly after exposure to summer heat. 10 months later (and after an extremely hot 2011 summer) some shingles have not properly lain down and roofer has refused (even though we have been calling him for 3 months) to resolve the problem. .
