Description of Work: I used Wayne's Painting for interior painting.

Description of Work: Painted 6 rooms and ceilings, fixed trim as well as settling cracks. Pressure washed exterior, decks, driveways and side walks. What can I say outstanding, I don't think I could have possibly gotten more for my money, fast quality work house looks brand new!!! We will defiantly use his services again. Detailed quote came in on time and budget. Thanks to Wayne and his crew for an outstanding job!

Description of Work: Wayne's Painting was one of three providers I called to come out to my house and give me an estimate for painting the ceilings in my kitchen, family room, upstairs hall bath, master bath, and master bedroom (latex flat paint). This was work related to damage suffered from Hurricane Irene. I also asked for a separate estimate for painting of the crown molding in these rooms (oil-based paint). When Wayne came out, he was the only one of the three painter-providers who had a measuring device that he could roll on the floor to measure the approximate sizes of the rooms, rather than just "eyeballing" the sizes. Wayne's estimate turned out to be very competitive with the two other providers, and since I had worked with him previously a number of years ago successfully, I awarded him the work. Wayne came himself with one of his four (five?) other men and performed the work over 1 1/2 days starting on the day that he had promised to come. They protected my furniture, floors, and walls during this work. Although I had had a separate sheet rock repair person for much of the damaged ceilings, Wayne and his man found a few other cracks in the ceilings that needed to be repaired before painting. All of the sheetrock repair needed to be sanded and primed/sealed prior to painting. The crown molding had "bleed through" in several places from the wood used in 1995; this had to be primed/sealed prior to painting with the oil-based paint. In addition, Wayne removed and replaced much of the caulking in the crown molding (especially in the Master Bedroom, where the crown molding had separated from the ceiling) prior to painting. One thing I wanted from a painter-provider was that he "pop" the caps from the light fixtures so he could paint under them rather than paint up to the edge of the cap (I didn't want to have to have the ceiling fixed and repainted if I ever needed to replace a fixture)--Wayne and his man did this for most of my fixtures. In addition, they took down the covers/lenses of the fixtures for me so that I could clean them and replace light bulbs if needed.
