He apparently sub contracted the job out initially and was responsible for supplying the supplies to the workers. Several times they would wait for hours with nothing to do because they had no materials. The job progressed OK and the quality of the joints and work was good. Ultimately the original workers did not come back and Ty Little came to finish the job himself with another man. The work was rushed, but OK. The front door was custom and not able to be finished yet, so he could not finish the metal around the door. He told me he would come back and finish it whenever I got the door hung. I paid him and held out $100 because it was only about 30 feet of trim coil (about $50 materials). When I called him, he said he would come on Saturday. The job is in a locked property and I had to be there to let him in. I was there all day and he never showed and would not answer his phone or answer messages. Over the next month, I left multiple messages and ultimately just asked him to let me know the exact number of the materials so I could match them. I asked him to just let me know, so I could get someone else to finish. He never called me back. I finally drove to the major supplier of the materials about 45 minutes away to see if they could look up what he had bought so I could get a roll of metal to finish the job. I asked them to call him and, of course, he called them right back but would not bother to look up the number of the materials to help me match it. I have made 3 trips there to finally get a match and now I have to go back because the person I found to finish the job has bent the metal wrong. It would have taken Ty at most 1 hour to finish, but now 3 months later is still not done. This small job will end up costing me $500 because of him. Also, I found several windows he skipped from caulking.
Description of Work: He placed vinyl on all soffits and wrapped doors and fascia board in aluminum. Also put vinyl shakes on several gable ends. Caulking of all windows and doors was included.
