+ -1 moreI had had to go through American Home Shield with this company - it was who they sent out. They would come out every few days, scratch their heads and say they had no idea what was wrong with the unit. We finally called someone privately and made AHS use them. The A/C was fixed within 5 minutes of the new company coming out to look at it. The supervisor and the worker for Central HAC were lackadaisical and acted like they couldn't care less about getting the job done. They acted put out when I would continue to call them and tell them that the job was not done. Absolutely ridiculous. I would never use them again, nor would I recommend them. I have also heard from other HVAC contractors since then that they have a bad reputation and often get a job diagnosis wrong.

Description of Work: There were 2 technicians that came to the house. They checked the upstairs and downstairs units' filters--downstairs needed replacement. They checked current draw on both units while operating and Freon levels. Both were good. In addition, they checked all connections and, at my request, went under the house to make sure ductwork and insulation was tight and in good shape. We discussed cleaning the coils and the lead tech said they were pretty clean and that I could save $$ by flushing them myself using hose with spray attachment but only after turning off breakers to the outside units. The other thing they did was to use a shop vacuum to clear the condensate drains on both units.....and they did get some material. I'd seen this done on you tube so knew it was appropriate. I don't have the bill yet but think it will run in the $150-$175 range. Quite satisfied with them and their service.

+ -1 moreThey were awesome!!! It took a week to have it installed, however it was a big job. We had base board heating thoughout and they came in....removed all the base board heating, installed a new HVAC with digital thermostat, and 3 mini-splits on the second floor. The service guys have been awesome....friendly, neat, and on time. Could not have asked for a better experience!!!!
