They were very professional. They were able to get some trouble spots cleaned up.

They were excellent. They provided a good service. They came and picked up the rug and brought it back after it was cleaned.

They were very thorough and careful with the rugs. They were able to get a stain out that I was unable to get out myself.

They do very good work, but they are a little pricey. The are punctual and if something doesn't come out, like a stain, they will come back and work on getting rid of it for no additional charge.

They are a family owned company, and the owner is very hands on. They have a very low employee turnover, so I usually work with the same people each appointment. I’ve always been happy with outcome of their work, and I think their pricing competitive. You definitely get what you pay for, which is quality!

Their work has always turned out wonderfully. We really like the Zimmerman’s, and we’re more than happy to support and recommend them.

They’ve been both timely and professional. Most recently, when a stubborn stain didn’t come out during their first trip, they came back out a second time to take care of it.

I had a very difficult which had set in, but they were able to remove it.

I tried out two carpet and upholstery companies of which Zimmerman was one. Mr. Zimmerman is a wonderfully professional person who is concerned with the quality of his work and his company's image and customer satisfaction. It is for this reason that this review is hard to write. First let me start out with the good things: prompt, on time, thorough, professional. All very good things. During the upholstery cleaning, a solvent/spot remover was applied which took out the color on the seat of one of my chairs and loveseat. These needed to be re-upholstered. Mr. Zimmerman completed the job that was requested, and brought me in immediately to look at the damage. He took total responsibility and offered to have the damaged areas re-upholstered at his expense. (luckily, I still had a roll of the upholstery material used the first time). He picked up the furniture, took it to an upholsterer, had it done and called to offer that I could have both pieces entirely reupholstered for a nominal charge. He paid for his portion, I paid for the rest and have two totally re-upholstered pieces. I admire and appreciate what he did to make this totally right, never once trying to f**** off responsibility. The only negative experience is in fact his actual pricing for the cleaning. I have to say that yes, the cleaning was thorough, but I didn't feel it warranted the difference in his fees. It is as if saying that because I charge you more, I do a better job. And I just do not feel this is always the case.

I moved the furniture myself in order to save money. Zimmerman's vacuumed first and then use their cleaning machine/solution. The stains and the salmon odor were gone! My brother-in-law had no trouble breathing and didn't have his usual sneezing fits. He really noticed a difference. Since then, Zimmermans has let us know when they were offering specials. Their customer service is great! We actually, embarrassingly, tried another company recently because we had a coupon and were short on money. We regret not using Zimmermans again; it turned out that Zimmermans would have been cheaper (we didn't read the fine print on the coupon). Zimmermans was trustworthy, professional, and skilled and didn't try to upsell us. We won't hesitate to use Zimmermans in the future and will not get sucked in by coupons again!

Found this company on Angie's List. They were prompt in responding to my inquiry, completing a quote and performing the service as planned. Highly recommend.

Great Service, very thorough, very professional I would use them again in a heartbeat! I do find them to be more expensive then most but more thorough then most and HONEST! I would feel comfortable leaving them in my home while gone if needed because I know the job would be completed as if I were there. Can't say I'd do that with any other company! I have had the same areas done for a third less but still believe Zimmerman's service was better overall. Only con is carpet takes 2 days to dry but that is what I have experienced with anyone. Try them! You will be extremely pleased especially if you worry about valuables and care of your furniture!

After checking out various carpet cleaning services on Angie's list I decided to call this company to clean my carpet. Through the reviews I was aware that they might cost a bit more than many others but that the quality of their work was excellent. When I called to make an appointment they explained all the various options. I elected the Silver, or basic service, as it was in my budget and I am also planning on replacing the carpet in a year or so. The estimated cost was somewhat higher than that quoted by other companies but I decided to go ahead hoping for a superior result. On the day of the service the technician called to let me know he was on his way and arrived just a few minutes outside of the hour window of my appointment time. He measured and assessed the condition of my carpeting and explained the options and what I could expect.He calculated the exact price and got to work. He thouroughly vacuumed with a commercial vacuum and then cleaned the carpet.. The results were outstanding - even the more worn trafffic areas and spots where my dogs lay all the time cleaned up great. The carpet dried quickly and does not look it's age. I could not be more pleased and highly recommend this company.

The service person was very punctual and courteous, listed the carpet cleaning packages and described in detail. Did not try to hard sell the "gold" package since I had pets and warranty did not cover pet stains. Was very thorough, including moving small furniture like the coffee and end tables. Did not move any large furniture- which was explained before I chose the package. The cleaning removed all the stains in the carpet. I was very satisfied with the work.

Our family had a very nice but well-used wool oriental rug. It was our 16 year old Lab's favorite spot and smelled like it. We kept it in the basement for a while, wondering if we should have it cleaned. I called Mike and brought it by his house one Friday for an estimate. He gave me a fair assessment of the stains and an extremely fair price of under $200 for an approximately 8 x 10 rug. He originally told me it would be ready Wednesday but when I called he felt it should dry some more. I picked it up and was very pleased by the look and the smell.

We just bought a house the owners had left uncleaned. After reading excellent reviews on Angie's, I made an appointment without getting a quote (I didn't know the total square feet of carpet). Mike was a little late for his one-hour window but courteously called ahead to advise. After measuring and pricing, I had some sticker shock (my fault) since by then I knew I could get it done for hundreds less from a cheaper service, so I balked. Mike then explained in detail what he does that's different from the cheaper competition. Before vacuuming, he manually brushes out dirt from all the baseboards and edges. He uses a special PH-neutral rinse that does not leave alkaline residue (soap) that attracts dirt afterwards. He uses a custom designed high-suction venturi nozzle cleaning head that pulls up dirt, soap and water from deep down that otherwise would be left to wick back up and again, attract dirt. His carpets will still be clean in three months where the cheaper service's will be dirty again. His van is filled with engines, boilers and control panels that runs outside while he operates the wand and head at the end of a hundred feet of hoses and cables. He offered to drop the price by $120 if I was willing to do the vacuuming with his commercial vac, and I agreed. He still got down and hand-brushed the baseboard edges preceeding me. I was done in an hour but Mike worked hard and steady for 4 hours, took extra time on tough stains and worn areas, extracting heavy soap buildups in places from previous over-shampooing. He was pleasant, smart, informative and very knowledgeable and experienced. Totally worth it; the carpets look great, dried fast and I expect them to last. He earned his money.

EXCELLENT!!!! Mark was actually a little early, which was great. He was very professional and courteous. He came in and cleaned 3 rooms and hallway. He did an outstanding job and it looked great when he finished. The price was actually lower than quoted, which is always good, and he had it cleaned in about an hour or so. Would definitely recommend this company and will definitely use them again!!!!!

Scheduling the carpet cleaning service was easy and pleasant. On the day of the cleaning, the technician arrived on time, was totally professional, and made sure he was clear about what we wanted. He also made sure our pets were secured and safe. I moved the furniture to save money, as we are penny pinching, but it wouldn't have been expensive to have them move the furniture. The whole process took about 2 hours. All of the stains and odors were removed, even set in stains from the previous owner's 2 dogs and our 6 pets (cats and dogs). They even removed the fish smell from fish oil we spilled months ago. We had family coming to stay with us for the weekend that night. This was the first visit in which my brother-in-law, who is highly allergic to cats, was able to breathe and did not sneeze at all. Overall, we are extremely pleased and wish we had done this sooner.

They were fine and very congenial. They cleaned the carpets and moved the furniture that we needed to move.
