Everything went GREAT overall- Traid Roofing by far at the best quote of (4) between $7,500.00 to $27,000.00 ; When Travis came by to look at the house, he didn't try to start selling me on his company and how great they were, as many companies had,.He genuiely listened to what I was telling him we we needing, and I told him what other companies had told me about needing to resheath the whole roof and the issues they saw., needing plywood on it all because the slats were to far apart in many places. Travis assured me that this wasn't the case and only a small part needed to be done like that. Traid Roofing crew started work @ 9:00am on 4/9/12 and finished everything except for a few housekeeping things @ 8:30pm on 4/10/12 Their crew worked great together, showing great team work in getting all jobs done We are very satisifed with Travis's work and following thru on everything he said he would do. Thanks Travis!!

I got 3 estimates for the job and Triad Roofing came in with the best price. I dealt with Travis Sands and found him to be very helpful and easy to work with. I was not sure which color or type of shingle I wanted and Travis helped by bringing over larger samples of each shingle I was thinking about. He offered to bring over as many as I wanted. He was always available to answer any questions I had whether it was before, during, or after installation. The start of the job was delayed due to weather and the fact that they were especially busy. I also had an odd shaped skylight that I wanted to replace, but couldn't find one that fit and was a reasonable price. Travis went above and beyond to find and price one for me. He even looked for one in Asheboro. It turned out that all the skylights were too expensive, so Travis and his crew used the old one and it worked out just fine. The crew was very polite and hard working. They showed up at the first light and stayed until dusk. THe job was finished in 2 days and they left the area very clean. I would definitely recommend them.

I had a metal roof installed due to looks, warranty period, and energy efficiency, even though it was more expensive. Travis Sands of Triad roofing was great to work with, quoted a very reasonable price, and was very professional, but low key, thru out. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone. Some general comments about metal roofs in general (not about Triad Roofing) There's a lot of noise out there about: steel vs aluminum, re rusting, weight, durability, denting, warranty, etc. (I chose steel) pricing (all over the map). Travis was reasonable and local how parts from different vendors fit together (over my head) Several of the sales people got rather annoying and pushy Whether or not to remove the old roof (Travis definitely recommended removal) and I'm glad he did cause we found some problems under the old roof.

I received estimates from 3 companies. Triad Roofing was not the least expensive, but I chose them because Travis Sands impressed me as someone who was honest and reliable. That proved to be correct. He did what he said he would do and showed concern for quality. When one of his workmen made a mistake that damaged part of the roof, Travis repaired the damage at no cost to me. When the workers found unexpected damage that was not covered in our original agreement, Travis made arrangements to have that fixed as well, and charged me a reasonable amount for the work change order. He was calm and courteous at all times. I felt I got my money's worth.

We couldn't be happier with the service we received. Travis Sands, the area manager for Triad Roofing went above and beyond in his efforts to make sure we were pleased with everything, including helping us handle a warranty claim for defective shingles which had been put up 12 years ago by a contractor who is no longer in business. To say the work crew was hard working would be an understatement - they worked non-stop for 7 hours straight the first day, 12 hours straight the second day, and finished up on Saturday afternoon. They cleaned up so thoroughly that I have still to find a stray nail or scrap of anything. Travis and his crew were a pleasure to work with and I would recommend them without reservation.

Triad Roofing gave us a solid mid-range estimate and we chose them because of the thoroughness and care given during the estimate. They were really the only company who got up on the roof and checked out all the issues before determining an estimate. Throughout the process, we ran into some unpredictable issues with our roofing situation and made a few changes in our design as well. Working with a near 200 year old house structure provides many challenges! Travis worked with us through all of it and proved to be flexible with our needs. He also is really really great at keeping a close eye on progress and has high standards for the work of his crews. Would recommend them to anyone!

They were prompt thorough and professional.

I was very pleased with the work. The crew was professional and paid special attention to the clean up. The owner was helpful in deciding on shingles, gutters and gutter guards and very easy to work with.

They were supposed to come at 3 o clock to give us an estimate and they didn't show up until 5:30. They told me they would fix it on Friday. They showed up on Friday and completed the job. They were very professional and the job was done well.

Workers arrived on time each day. Roof removal was done and clean up was excellent.Repairs were needed as work progressed we were very satisfied. Worked in extreme heat conditions. Workers were very polite and answered any questions. Very satisfied.

I felt put out by this company and was treated very unprofessionally Update 8/9/12:had previously given a bad review of this company. The owner went above and beyond to correct the issue.

Travis came by a day earlier than planned to provide us an estimate. One of his employees was here the next morning, cleaned our gutters, and replaced gutter screens that morning. My wife pointed out something she wished he had done so we called Travis and, to my surprise, he sent the employee back to do the additional work that day. We were very pleased, but we (like everyone) are always disappointed at home repair companies yard clean-up after a job.

I found them on Angies List. Travis Sands is the owner of this company. They were professional and prompt. Their work seemed to be of good quality. As for their punctuality they said they were coming one day and did not get there till the next.

Travis Sands was at my home within one week, and spent several hours on my older roof inspecting damage from wind/weather and the local squirrel population that apparently enjoys chewing on lead flashing. He corrected much of the damage present, and took several photos together with a write-up that he sent to my email account. He also noted several non-standard issues, including my roof vents that had been coated with tar.He was prompt, polite and gave me his clearly honest opinion that my roof appeared to be in relatively good condition overall, and would most likely last several more years, and that although some of the flashing still had some damage, the roof would not need further repairs for another year. As I preferred to have the repairs done prior to the Fall hurricane season, he sent me an estimate for full repairs which I considered very reasonable. As a result, I have chosen to have this work done by Triad Roofing sometime in early September.

They came out and worked on the roof and did a super job. They got the job done in one day. I've recommended them to other people. Their price was fair and the quality of their work was excellent.

Dealing with Triad Roofing was a great experience! Travis Sands promptly returned all phone calls and did what he said he was going to do, when he said he was going to do it. He is very knowledgeable and eager to provide exactly what the customer wants. In our case, that was especially appreciated as we were often very indecisive. No problem for patient Travis, he shared the facts and his opinion but gave us time to come to the decision that worked for us. Overall, we were exceptionally pleased with the quality and workmanship of the job and, as an added bous, Travis and Billy were fun to have around. We missed them when the job was completed.

I called Travis for an estimate and he was out there the next day with the actual crew leader that would do my roof. I was originally told the job would be two weeks out but a mix-up at his distributor put me at the head of the list, so I only had to wait a few days between accepting the bid and the job being finished. They did an outstanding job and finished the work in ONE DAY; I was amazed (This was with a late start too). The new roof is better than what I had, and they extended the ridgevents all the way to the edge and even installed them on the dormers! They were thourough in cleaning up after themselves, and I had to pick up very little trash and only found one nail on the ground. The also gave me the best price...before the discount for being an Angies' list member. This one job paid for my membership ten-fold!

I decided to change my roof as the inspection came up with the deteriorated roof. I asked price quotes from several companies (five to be exact). Triad Roofing Services gave me the best value. Even though they returned my call after one week, I have to say that their punctuality was excellent afterwards. They finished the roof in two days and cleaned everything in a very professional manner. They cleaned the house around and my attic from dust and nails. The installed two solar tubes and even though I changed my mind about the design, Travis always accommodated my requests. I am very happy about their service and I will definitely use them again.

Travis and his crew were finished within two days. He and his crew were very professional and courteous. He was at the job site a good majority of the time which was important to me because I don't like being caught in a situation where I'm having to deal with someone I've never met nor never hired. (I am a Realtor, and I also flip houses for a living - many times contractors will sell you on the front end about their quality of work and service, and then they simply drop their crew off and you never see them again- this can be an issue if you have a problem and all of a sudden you're having to deal w/ a total stranger whom you never hired). Travis didn't leave me feeling this way because even when he wasn't on site, he was very accessible whenever I had questions or concerns. He was also very patient and thorough when I had him investigate a preexisting issue repaired by someone else about 2 years prior. I was very concerned about this issue possibly not having been fixed correctly the first time. Again, Travis took a lot of extra time and effort to look into it and insure me that the problem had been remedied. At the end of the second day, my house looked like a brand new home. They're workmanship was Fantastic!!! I would recommend them to anyone who needs to have minor or major roof work done, and I will use them again in the future.

The entire project went very smoothly from start to finish. The estimate was right on and the service was excellent. They were very quick to respond to my questions and went above and beyond what I asked of them. They completed the work quickly and did an excellent job cleaning up afterwards. Travis was the gentleman that I spoke with and I could not have asked any more of him. He answered all of my questions and did everything in his power to accommodate my needs. I will be happy to recommend them to anyone!

They were professional but I did not have much contact with them except during the inspection process. They were more expensive than the other companies I had out. He was more pushy and aggressive. I was looking for the repair and replacement and he was a more interested in giving me a bid for replacement.

After leaving messages at the "office" # and on the alternate phone #, I still have not received a response after 3 days. How do these people run a business? How do they get a high rating on Angie's List?

Travis provided a detailed estimate of work to be performed up front including pricing for several possible add-ons which was great! That allowed me to pick and choose what I wanted done as opposed to the cookie cutter estimates I received from most of the other contractors I selected to provide estimates. Scheduling was great, very short time frame to get the work done (5 days, two of which were due to me picking out a shingle color that was not in stock).The work went smoothly, was completed in an acceptable time frame (a day and a half), every employee I spoke with was very professional. Another thing I liked about this contractor was that there was no requirement of payment up front (not even to cover materials!), I took this as a sign of a reputable, financially sound business. I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THEM to anyone needing a roof in the Triad, NC area. And I almost forgot to mention that the final price matched the original estimate exactly.
