The move was so smooth... everything went so much better than i ever thought. A crew of three strong men arrived and moved 7 (i think) items in only a few hours. i was so worried as some of the items were antique and irreplaceable, They wrapped them with care and moved them every so carefully. All arrived safely and without a scratch! The heaviest items had to be carried up a flight of stairs too! They arrived exactly on time, were very professional and so cheery! I VERY HIGHLY recommend Tri-City Movers! I would definitely use them again given the opportunity. They were truly THE BEST.

My husband and I can't say enough about Tri-City Movers of Greensboro, NC. Kelvin and his company are absolutely first rate. From the initial on-site estimate to the packing to the actual move(s), he and his team could not have been more pleasant, professional and efficient. Our move was a rather complicated undertaking which involved moving us out of a large, 5000+ sqft home and a separate office building in preparation for an out-of-state move. Specifically about 75% of our things had to be packed and moved into rented containers that would be transported ultimately to our new home in Colorado (note: we used PackRats for the containers and they too were excellent!), and the rest of our things had to be packed and moved into an apartment. Since our situation required us to stay in Greensboro for a few months after moving out of our home & prior to moving out of NC, we again hired Tri-City Movers when the time came to move out of the apartment in preparation for the final move to Colorado. Both of the moves went as smooth as could be. Kelvin is so easy to work with, punctual, very polite with an exceptional work ethic. It is obvious too that he hires with this in mind, because all the people he employees have those same great qualities... honest, hard-working, efficient and enjoyable to have in your home. On top of that, the prices they charged for their services were better than other companies we interviewed and received estimates from - costs: $2750.00 for first multi-part move out of home & $440.00 to move from apartment into moving truck. The first multi-part move ended up involving more work than we originally had Kelvin quote. Yet when it came time to write the check, Kelvin never added one more dime to his original quote! We couldn't believe it and were just thankful for his attitude thruout the whole process!! Plus, we are happy to report that once we arrived in Colorado and unpacked all the dozens and dozens of boxes and furniture that they packed up for us, not one thing was damaged, broken or scratched!! Just a superb job from start to finish!! Thank you Kelvin and crew!! Do not hesitate to use this company if you ever have need for a moving company.

We cannot praise Derrick, Greg, and Tyrone enough for their work. Great team that spent four very hot hours carefully moving everything out of the freight trailer into their truck then taking it to our new home where they carried it all up 19 stairs and put it where we needed it without complaint. During the work they were friendly, outgoing, and helpful as could be. Honestly can say that this is our best experience ever with movers and will be giving them a call when the time comes to move it all out and go somewhere else. Only concern is that wherever we go these three will not be there to unload our home.

They charged $110 per hour and they did the job in seven hours. There were no problems. They did what we asked them to do. One of them was not very happy about the job, but other than that they did well.

Upon booking them, it was great. My husband was immediately impressed with the quote he got & the helpfulness he recieved. The initial call, they ask many questions, to access the amount and size of what we would be moving. Just a little side note- always overestimate the amount of "stuff" you have. They showed up at 7:55 AM- Perfect timing. They said 8:00. The foreman talked to us before they started moving things, then immediately got to work. They asked questions, if they deemed necessary. Getting us packed was a couple hours short of what we thought it would take. Unloading our stuff was just as seamless, except for a tiny ding, & the guy immediately called it out to us. Wasn't a big deal & we appreciated their honesty. Overall, very good job.

I research three firms before selecting Tri-city. Two were local and 3rd was national. The national chain - 2 men and a truck was the worst. I selected Tri-city because of their professional and honest behavior from start to end. Kelvin came for the estimate and he was also there in the beginning of the move. The move took as much time as the estimate. I have moved 6 times and this is the best experience so far since moving is so stressful. They were on-time, professional and made sure my new house was not damaged in any way at all. They put the runners on my hardwood floors and on stairs. They wrapped everything so it wouldn?t get damaged. The movers ? Hector, John & John were absolutely amazing. I will absolutely use them again and will recommend them to our friends.

They were great from start to finish. Kelvin, who booked the job, was courteous and efficient as asked helpful questions about size and types of furniture. The crew on "day of" was a pleasure to work with. John, John, and Hector were prompt, cheerful, friendly and efficient. The never stopped moving, hustling our stuff on and then off the truck as if they were choreographed. They even helped my stepdaughter put some pieces in better placement than she had planned. We would use these guys again in a heartbeat.

If you are looking for an accurate estimate and a professional crew to service your local move, stop reading other reviews and just call Tri City Movers! Kelvin was able to come out for an estimate in less than an hour from when we first spoke. He was professional and courteous. Kelvin explained everything I needed to know about his company, the service they provide, and the NC laws they operate under. He walked from room to room, wrote down all items, and made an estimate that was 100% accurate. We scheduled a 3 person crew for 7 hours for our move. A week later, the team showed up on time, dressed in company uniforms, ready to work. They loaded our entire home including furniture in under 4 hours, drove to Summerfield, and unloaded into our rental home. From start to finish, the crew took exactly 7 hours, just like the estimate. They didn't bump any walls, break anything, or treat our belongings roughly. Everything was moved without a scratch. I will use this company again in the spring when we move again. I was very impressed! Disclaimer: prior to the move, we spent a week packing our belongings in quality boxes from Lowe's Home Improvement. If you want to save some time during your move, which saves you money, be prepared and have your house ready to load up when they arrive!

I cannot recommend Tri-City Movers highly enough! From the detailed estimate & explanation to the punctuality, to loading and unloading, Tri-City did a fantastic job. Their estimate was spot-on, and several hundred dollars less than the next lowest estimate I got. Six men loaded and did a great job, especially with several antique pieces that they took good care of. They worked fast, but carefully. Everything was handled professionally. Could not be more pleased-- very highly recommend!

Tri-City Movers is very punctual. I have used them twice in two separate moves, and they've done a great job both times. They are on time, professional, and they don't waste time. I have always moved with three workers, and one is a supervisor. In my last move, I ran out of time, and the movers helped me pack up my kitchen. I was very thankful for that. It did cost a little extra, but not much, and well worth it. Tri-City has also moved offices for the company I work for, so I trusted that they would do a good job. They also moved my piano and organ without charging a huge extra fee. They packed all of my antiques with great care. Hopefully I'll never move again, but if I do, I'll call them again!

The 3 man crew was dressed in uniform, showed up on time, and worked h****** a very hot and humid July day. They had a new crew member, and Kelvin one of the managers came out of the office and joined the crew to help. We mutually underestimated to the time (estimate was 5 hours and it end up taking 8) but I felt that the men worked hard and did a nice job with preserving the hard wood floors in the home and protecting our belongings, so I had no issue with it. As we were writing up the paperwork, Kelvin got on the phone with me and offered to credit 1 hour as a courtesy even though I did not even ask for it! I shopped a couple of the franchise companies and they all charged more per man hour, including a fee for the truck which was included with Tri City, and they also wanted to charge for travel time. I am sure the other companies do a good job too, but our experience with Try City was excellent, and I highly recommend them! They even pleased my hard to please wife!

Three movers arrived at 8 am and were done before noon. They loaded the furniture for bedroom, living room and kitchen. They put down floor covering and were very professional. Could not ask for a better job.

They were wonderful! Kelvin and Derrick were superb - courteous, friendly, professional, efficient. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

The manager, Kelvin, came out promptly to assess the move, and promptly provided an email estimate. His crew, led by Elliot, arrived on time the day of the move and were courteous and professional. They finished the entire job, start to finish, in less than 5 hours. Additionally, their manager, Kelvin, came onsite to address a minor issue that was satisfactorily resolved. I can't say enough about this mover and their service.

If I could give Tri-City Movers and A++ review, I would. The moving went smoothly from start to finish. The gentlemen were very professional, polite, and friendly. They worked very hard to complete the move in a timely manner. Everything arrived in perfect condition! We are thrilled with their work and highly recommend Tri-City Movers to everyone.

This was the best moving experience I have ever had. I packed most of my things and had them pack/wrap my furniture. Tri City did an excellent job with care of my belongings and loading and unloading everything in a very timely manner. Kelvin, Emmit, Bob and Elliot were very professional and very accommodating. I was unable to locate one of my items (this was something that was packed by me and my friends), Kelvin followed up with me until I was able to locate it. This to me, was very impressive. I will use Tri City movers for any of my future moving needs.

The team did a great job. Crew of 3 plus the Manager (owner?) Kalvin all showed up on time and ready to go to work. They carefully wrapped furniture, art, and mirrors. They had to move several large pieces up and down stairs as I was moving from a two story home into a three story townhouse. Additionally, they were flexible enough to work with me to wait on a truck with furniture my sister was bringing in a rental truck from out of town. We would not have been able to get the pieces off the truck and into my new house without their help. The job took longer than expected because of the size of the pieces, the extra stuff arriving by rental truck, and all those stairs....but the entire crew hung in there to the very end....maintaining same level of energy, professionalism, and care from start to finish. Every step of the way, I felt like they took care with my things and made sure I was happy with how it was going and that things were put in the right places. The move went really well and I would definitely hire these guys again!

I started by asking for an on site estimate because I did not want to pay by the hour for a local move. Kelvin was prompt in arriving to do the estimate and was courteous and respectful. He provided a detailed explanation and good follow up. The estimate was very fair and I booked the date. On moving day the 3 man crew arrived on time and began work right away. They were very careful in wrapping furniture and moving pieces. They did a phenomenal job of loading the truck in order to get everything on it in one trip.When we arrived at my new home, they quickly unloaded and placed everything where I wanted it. There was one minor incident with a piece of furniture that was damaged but they immediately called it in to the office. I was assured that it would be repaired. Within a few days they came and took the piece out for repair and returned it promptly and in great shape. The damage was completely repaired and it looked like nothing had happened. Kelvin was responsive and very accomodating through the whole process. The crew he sent for the move were hard workers who never even stopped to rehydrate unless I made them stop to drink the pitchers of water I kept bringing to them. Moving is stressful and I have had more than one bad experience with "professional" movers. Tri-City Movers gives the industry a good name and I will definitely highly recommend them to anyone if asked.

We hired this company to pick up a large, heavy dining room set and credenza from one home in Greensboro to another home in Greensboro. The set included a very heavy, bulky table and heavy, long credenza as well as 12 chairs. This set is a very high quality and we wanted great care taken. We did not have to direct them to take care as they did that all one their own. Each chair and each piece was carefully wrapped and packed. The arrived on time and delivered the pieces to our home and great care was taken to cover our floors, stairs, doorways to protect the pieces and our home. The credenza was to go upstairs and the stairs are narrow with a sharp turn ending in a hallway that has a turn in the opposite direction. They were very, very careful and they made it up and around all turns. They moved an older, also large and extremely heavy credenza out of that room and down the stairs as well. Again, they covered it carefully and moved it carefully. I was very impressed with each man and their skills as well as professionalism. I would highly recommend this company whether you have a small move like we did or a big move. You will know that your personal items and home will be respected and taken care of. Great company, great service from the first phone call to the job done!!

THESE MOVERS ARE WONDERFUL! GREAT! ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! I was truly impressed with this moving company and the quality of services provided. This was my ninth move, so I'm a "moving professional" who knows the ins and outs about moving. Kevin, who was the leader and coordinator of my move, was thorough, courteous, and considerably knowledgeable about assisting me with the details about my move. I would like to emphasize that the gentlemen who packed (Friday @ 9:00 a.m.) and loaded and moved me (Saturday morning @ 7:00 a.m.) were on time both days and on point. These men came to take care of business--and did!. They were prompt, professional, fast, cordial, and caring of my cargo of elephants and other other items that are dear to my heart. This is my first move that nothing was broken--not even things that I had packed. What was especially notable was the price for their services--several estimates that I had received had charged me for moving me on Saturday--Tri-City Movers didn't. Hallelujah! I would use this company again in the future in a heart beat--The rate was very reasonable and affordable. Tri-City Movers do honor and provide discounts such as for seniors, coupons, etc. Just ask Kevin and he will work with you.

My first review somehow did not get submitted on these outstanding gentlemen. Kelvin is a Saint in my book. I drove him nuts w/ many texts and e-mails due to a stressful marital situation and relocation to another state due to a job promotion. Kelvin was always so patient and understanding. Hector, Greg and Derrick loaded some very heavy, bulky items located on the 2nd floor of my home and they never made a mark on any wall. They were wonderful with my dog who was stressing with me. At one point I began to have a meltdown of emotions watching my house get empty and Hector asked if I was OK and could he call someone for me. I was very touched by this young man's empathy. My items were delivered a few days later and everything was in immaculate condition. I did a rush job packing my items and some boxes were cheap and flimsy yet NOTHING was broken. ALL of my contents were delivered in one piece considering my lousy packing. Kelvin and his team are fabulous in my book. I will never forget them. Laura and Scooby Cook

The guys were AWESOME! First off, they were the only place I contacted that were able to schedule me for the day I needed them. They arrived right on time (8 am), walked through the house to make sure they knew exactly what was going in the truck, laid out a game plan for me (I still needed time to pack) and then got right to work. They were careful with all my furniture, wrapping everything with the furniture pads I provided. The best part was that they were able to get things packed in less space than I thought possible! I hired them for three hours and they were done right on time. I would definitely hire them again and recommend them to anyone looking for a professional moving crew.

They were quick to reply and all the details discussed were sent across in an email. They were right on time and even agreed to deliver the stuff before the final date. I would recommend them for any type of move.

I had my boxes packed and my furniture disassembled and the team of 3 men had the whole house carefully on the truck in no time. They gave me advice as to how to protect my furniture while in storage. Tony, Hector and Emmitt were professional, respectful of my stuff and very efficient. This was money well spent. If you don't have a lot of money to spend I recommend get some good packing tape, free and sturdy boxes from the grocery store, and pack it all yourself. Allow the professionals to do the moving. They will save you a lot of time and hassle. I will use them again to move to my new house.
