I am a GARDEN DESIGNER (and former serial Home renovator and Landscape Co.Owner and N.C. CERTIFIED PLANT PROFESSIONAL. Does your curb need some appeal? I've a passion for recognizing hidden potential in Homely Spaces! I lovingly give Facelifts on Homes and Gardens. The artful design of complimentary shrubs around your home makes a HUGE difference. Color,texture,growth habits and knowing mature size are so important. Plant selection is the key to low maintenance as well as eye pleasing "Curb Appeal." To avoid having to trim that now enormous Holly six feet from your front door several times a year let me draw your next plan and spec your selections.

Services we offer

I can come do a Consult and advise on what to eliminate, plant, trim...whatever. You may love doing your own work. OR I can draw up a scaled design...and have it installed. Facelifts aren't all about plants tho - I might suggest just a new front door COLOR and some side planters! My fees depend on the size and scale of the work... Consultation fees start at $75 for the 1st 90 minutes and $35 and hour after that. A scaled drawing for front or back is $350.

I would prefer someone to tell me up front, they won't help rather than come to the sight and waste my time trying to make me think they are so interested in helping our school. She told me she was getting plenty of plants and shrubs from one of her sources and would be willing to donate a few to our school. I finally got a call with an excuse that she just couldn't find my number so she called with the sad news of not being able to do anything for us but give us ideas and drawings. The drawings I still haven't received and at this point, don't even want.
Description of Work: Although she said she would be willing to help our school, weeks later she changed her mind but said she would put some ideas on paper and send it to me. Never did!

The customer was pleased when I came to offer Design advice Pro Bono. I spent 2 hours, took photos, and never lost her number as it was always in my phone. I came knowing I would not be compensated for my time yet never thought I would be expected to donate/fund the project. I can freely contribute only what I have...and I did just that. I have a business and am in NO financial position to pay for all she needed. I gave her a good design solution to her problem site and followed our meeting with an explanation and drawing. The possible donated plants were in another clients yard....she showed no interest in transplanting them herself and someone else did.
