This is the second time I have used them and they were once again prompt, pleasant and professional.

We discussed on the phone; I travelled to home office location and left the "sample sized" screens at the Shop. He contacted me of their completion; and I followed the same procedure for pick up.

Great! Provider promptly returned phone call, arrived when he said he would, gave an estimate on the spot, and replaced window. Very pleasant experience. We received several quotes from different providers, and Window and Screen Dr. was by far the least expensive. We are very pleased and will definitely use again if the need arises!

We have a very large, very high-maintenance dog. He tends to go through windows. As we live in an older home with a lot of irregularly-sized and custom windows, the Window and Screen Doctor is our go-to company. Very prompt communication and service, and prices are reasonable.

We have had horrible luck with contractors in this area.

This man is an absolute gem! Don't ever replace windows without first checking with him! He is professional, knows windows like the back of his hand, and does meticulous work.. If more people called this man first we would have much less to worry about in landfills! It is difficult to find a man who can repair these windows and knows where to get replacement parts. He responded quickly at first contact. Upon setting up a date to view the work he showed up on time, made all the measurements and figured up the total price. At this point everything went south. He told me the work should be completed in 10 to 14 days. After 20 days of waiting I contacted him to find out the problem. My guess is the material was ready to be installed because he immediately made an install date. After showing up on prearranged date and time, he proceeded to install the first two window sashes backward, where upon I pointed the flaw out to him. On the one sash it didn't matter , because the glass was cracked anyway. The third was installed correctly. Now he had to order another new sash. In 8 days he called, made an appointment to install the faulty sash and showed up on time to replace it. Upon arriving to replace the cracked glass pane he proceeded to remove it and I pointed out it was backward, please turn the new one correctly, he then installed the new glass backward again.

No further feedback and went with another supplier.

He did very good job. His local supplier of the replacement glass had long lead time, so it took time to get job done.

While Mr. Hodgson was not able to repair the cracked window I have (my situation is outside the scope of his work), he did offer me good, honest advice, which I really appreciate, and he was very punctual and professional. Should I need his services in the future, I would not hesitate to call him.

He got the door from the basement and put it up in front of the front door. He had to adjust the door and the pressure mounting for about a half an hour to get it righted to the jam. It took a second pressure 'fixture' from my garage to do the job. The door is very heavy and quality. He stayed with the job until it was correct.

We recently purchased a home in Stokesdale and the house did not have screens on any of the windows. I called two companies, one of which was The Window and Screen Doctor. The first company didn't want to come out and wanted us to give them all the information via email or over the phone. My husband didn't want to do that because, if there was a mistake, we would be responsible. We decided to use The Window and Screen Doctor because of Mike's responsive. He returned calls quickly, came to the house within two days, measured all the windows, provided a quote the same day he measured and the screens were installed by Mike the following week. We were very happy with the service provided and would recommend Mike to anyone. I did not give a rating for price because we didn't really check around for prices; we were just thrilled to have someone do it and to have one less thing to worry about. I'd take pictures, but not sure pictures of screens would be too helpful.

I contacted this vendor through Angie's List. When I called him to see if he could come out and give me an estimate to repair or replace two sliding screen doors on my patio room, he told me to go to Home Depot or Lowes Home Improvement and buy the screen door at one of those store. As is turned out, Home Depot and Lowes do in fact carry replacement sliding screen doors, but not the size that I needed.

They picked up the old screens and brought back new ones.

He worked with me to solve the problem. There wasn?t a replacement part available but I was able to get the broken glass out and he was able to get me the replacement glass and get it back in.

Mr. Hodgson took all the measurements, came up with an estimate, and provided an estimate for a couple of types of screens and frames. I found the estimate to be within our budget and we accepted his offer. Two of the screens needed a small adjustment after delivery and that was done at no additional charge.

I really enjoyed working with them. They did a good job with something that was not easy to do. The service men did their best to make them fit exactly in our windows. There were a few small gaps but not big enough for any bugs to get in.

THIS COMPANY WAS A LITTLE SLOW IN COMING TO DO THE WORK. THEY SHOWED UP A WEEK AFTER THEY SAID THEY WOULD. WHEN THEY DID DO THEY WORK IT WAS PROFESSIONALLY AND BEAUTIFULLY DONE. WE WERE SATISFIED WITH IT.
