Front door and two sidelites were installed by Coastal Home Solutions who did a wonderful job. In order to not void the warranty there is a long list of prep and installation procedures that must be followed. It took two days to sand and give 4 coats of paint to all surfaced prior to installing. Two men took an entire day to remove the old door and install the new following the warranty specs. As soon as the door was installed 2 inspection stickers were remove from sidelight revealing a defect in the glass that was covered up.. After two week a rep came out to confirm the defect and a replacement was ordered. Coastal installed the replacement with the help of the rep. A month later the wood on the sidelight split. The rep came again and said he would get the sidelight rep out to look. By the time he came out the other sidelight had split as had the door. The company agreed to replace the door and two side lights. The door has been shipped to Wilmington but the company refuses to pay for installation. I spoke with Trip Streuli who accused me of having problems not with my door but with my wife, as she made a comment about the door being only 6 months old and for three months we haven't been able to open it. I will refrain from conveying what Trip was like to deal with, but customer no service is inadequate to express his response. If you are buying a door make sure you're not dealing with Streuli. He expects his defective doors to replace itself.
