+ -1 moreHe was terrible. I tried to set up an appointment so that he could come out and he never showed up. I called him again and he said he was going to come out and he never showed up so I just went with someone else. He finally came out and gave me a quote on how much it would cost to do the job and he said that he would be here on a certain day and never showed up. It was $25 a cut which was fine with me as I needed somebody to do the backyard. It was a job too small for him to come out here and I just never heard back from him. I called him and talked to him twice. He didn’t follow through. Everything was done on the phone because I was at work when he went and checked the backyard. He quoted me the price and I asked him how I would pay him and he asked me to leave it on the front door, but he never followed through to come down and do it. It was raining for a couple of days and I understood why he didn’t show up the first time. I called him the second time and asked if he would still come out and cut the yard and he said that he would be there the same day or the next day. He neither called nor showed up. In other words, he never delivered the product he was selling. He wasn’t responsive as I was the one who was calling him. I would never consider using him in the future.
Description of Work: I got an estimate from Smith Brothers Lawn Care about 3 weeks to a month ago to cut my backyard.

Description of Work: This particular service rendered a multitude of tasks was performed,such as : Lawn aerating, fertilising, reseeding, raking, trimming the bushes, mulching with pine needles, lawn moving, etc. A two-man crew spent about 4-6 hours of labor. Subsequent to this work, this company will be maintaing the yard on a weekly basis for additional remuneration. The performance seems to be satisfactory at this time (the crew worked only two weeks). They will be doing additional tasks such as liming, adding weed killing chemicals, etc in the initial stages. All material cost associated with the referenced work was born by the servicing company. This company will be maintaining the lawn on a regular basis @40.00 per trip. Leaf raking in the fall & early spring will be an additional $15/per task. Since this is our first effort in engaging the services of this company, it's rather difficult to assess the quality of work.

+ -1 moreThe quotes were too high. The gentleman who came out was very kind. It just happened to be a little bit higher than what we were looking for. It?s a family owned company. The guy who came to our house was very professional and very nice. I don?t think that I would use their services again in the future.
Description of Work: We got a quote from Smith Brothers Lawn Care. We did not use their services. We got a quote from them four weeks ago.

+ -1 moreThey came went right to work and stayed 'til it was finished. They were nice polite and seemed to want to do a good job, which they did, was very satisfied.
Description of Work: Yard work; removed old logs and removed leaves, mowed and weeded. Did a fantastic job and did it for a very reasonable fee.
