The force is with this one. The Skywalker team met with me very quickly and worked around my schedule to ensure that the situation was under control and that I was not incurring damage. After a quick free assessment, they scheduled the work within a day and the team knocked it out in no time. They gave me advice on the remaining life of my roof, without trying to scare me into replacing it before it was ready. This was the exact experience I was hoping for. I highly recommend Skywalker Roofing!

They came within the stated timeframe. They gave me a good price for replacing the boots. At my request, they scraped and recaulked the flashing around the chimney even though that wasn't part of my original request and they did not have the time budgeted to do that. They did the chimney caulking at no additional charge! The guys who did the work were very pleasant and professional.

I was so relieved to deal with a company that was so professional after a bad experience with poor quality roofers. They were up front and willing to explain what needed to be done. Everything was in writing, which made me comfortable, and they stayed underneath their initial estimate. Everything was cleaned up down to using a magnet to collect nails in the driveway. My questions were answered immediately and completely. I had minor questions about a couple of details after the fact, and the crew came back immediately to address my concerns. I was extremely pleased and would hire them again.

Getting different quotes together and Luke Wilson won. Not only was his price the best, but he was very professional and personable, which the latter is just an added bonus & nice to notice. His team came out early, like 7 AM, got the job done by 6PM. They did a great job with clean up, although the magnetic tools they use to get all metal scraps etc. up with, doesn't pick up aluminum. With that said, be careful, as these pieces may be sharp, and do a thorough walk around the area, as well. Otherwise, we were very pleased.

From our first contact to the final nail, Skywalkers were very friendly, polite, and nice. Wendi, Christie and John handled all of the up front communications. You could not ask for a more pleasant experience. They were very patient and understanding when I explained about the problems we were having. The foreman (Jake) was one of the easiest people to work with I have ever encountered. During the 2 3/4 days, the crew was very professional. I did not encounter any disrespect or any problems. Since the work was completed, we have experienced 3 heavy rain storms and have seen NO signs of leaking. I know this review sounds very syrupy, but it was my experience. I would not have any reservation about using Skywalker for my roof issues in the future.

After reviewing your website, we met with Rodney for a quote. Before he was done with his presentation we were already impressed and decided to go with Skywalker Roofing. We were hoping that everything told to us was true, and it was. From the arrival of the crew until they left, it was a pleasure to see a crew that actually knew what they were doing, and did it with quality. One of their main selling points was that they had an onsite supervisor to ensure everything was done correctly. They all worked together as a team. The work was top notch, the materials were top notch, and the crew and supervisor were very respectful and great workers. Office staff was wonderful to work with as well. Could not asked for anything better. We will definitely refer this Company as a #1 Company. Cost was great. Workmanship was great.

Excellent job of removing old roof and installing a new roof. They had a very, very hard-working crew that showed up on time and did a very professional job. Clean up was exceptional. I was also very impressed every time I called the office and spoke with Wendy. She was very accommodating and professional! I would highly recommend Skywalker Roofing.

I have built two large homes and renovated several. My father was a builder and during the summer months when I was out of college I worked for him. I have had much experience with the building industry and have, for the most part, been satisfied but not until I used Skywalker that I really knew what customer service meant. I had received a bid to replace my roof from one of Winston-Salem's "best roofers", actually one I had used 20 years ago when I built a new house. I joined Angie's list just to see what other companies I might want to consider. Only 4 hours after joining, Luke Wilson of Skywalker Roofing was at my home. He had already gotten a satellite view of my roof and knew exactly how much material it would take. He got on the roof and made a video and explained everything that needed to be done to make this "the last roof I will ever need". After less than an hour with Luke, I knew he was the man for this job. We refined the contract in writing and his very pleasant office staff emailed me several times until I was completely happy with the wording. They gave me the addresses of two houses that had the color roof we had chosen. Due to rain there was a one week delay on getting started but I was called and was told exactly when they anticipated they could start. They arrived this Monday at 6:45 am and 15 minutes later they were doing the tear off. They worked for 11 straight hours and took only one 30 minute break for lunch. At the end of the day they cleaned up every piece of trash and I couldn't even tell they had been there. This was repeated the following day after putting in 12 hours and the project was completed before noon on the third day. The owner came by each day to inspect their work. When they left today the roof looked perfect and they was not even the smallest piece of trash visible. The crew was extremely polite, professional and highly efficient. Within two hours of the crew leaving, the owner of the company, Luke Wilson, came by for a final inspection and found everything to his satisfaction but more importantly he wanted to be sure that I was satisfied. I can't say enough about this company and would never consider anyone else.

I have no complains about their work, as they did not do a job for me. However, I did call them sometimes in November for an estimate on either a repair job, or a new metal roof. The estimator did a shuffle and dance, and a "well I gotta talk to the boss about this, but I will get back with you." This was before Thanksgiving in 2014. I am still waiting for the estimate. Having run several businesses, I realize the value of good customer relations. This Company dropped the ball. I have since had another roofer do the job.

First, I must share that I had two prior estimates from other companies, one of which is pretty well known nationwide. As my husband and I were about to make a decision he decided to go on Angie's List to see what was available for our area. We stumbled upon Skywalker, read the reviews and decided to get a third estimate. Luke (owner) came out to our home and wrote up the estimate. I cant' say enough about how professional he was and the overall experience of merely getting an estimate. He took the time out to take a video of the entire roof which he shared with me prior to completing the estimate. I was so impressed with the video because without it, I wouldn't have had any idea how truly damage my roof was. He took his time in explaining to me the step by step process, along with another video showing what would occur from dropping off supplies to installing the new roof. I immediately thought to myself wow, how is it that a small company out of Eden NC could be so thorough and efficient in comparison to the two lager companies that came out prior. I knew then before I got the quote that it's more than likely that I would utilize their services and I did just that. Second, the entire 2 day process was done in a timely and professional manner. Supplies were delivered 1 day prior to installation. The crew (total of 6) started the day on time, took no more than 2 breaks in a 12 hour shift and was very thorough. Again, I can't say enough about the professionalism from the entire crew and staff at the office. I was always updated on what was being done and was quite pleased with a follow up call after the job was done to make sure that I was a satisfied customer. Finally, I am please to share that I am totally satisfied with my new roof, and I will definitely recommend Skywalker Roofing to any family or friends who are wanting a roof replacement.

We noticed a stain on our ceiling about 2 months after Skywalker installed the vents. We called Skywalker to come and investigate because when we went into the attic to see why, it appeared to be in the same spot as the vent. Skywalker came and looked and told us the water damage was nowhere near the vent and they think the damage came from the AC water line. The AC people came the next day and traced the water line and checked it and showed nothing was wrong with AC but said that they cleared out the insulation and saw the damage originated from the vent. After paying AC people to come for no reason we called our handyman to check our ceiling because it was forcasted to rain. When he came out he threw a bucket of water on the vent and get us to take video and photo of the water pouring into the house from the new vent. After getting a estimate to repair and paying him to investigate we called Skywalker (which claims to have a 24 hour emergency service) to repair which was needed ASAP as it was going to storm and we didn't want any additional damage. They didn't return call that day or the next so we had our handy man to stop the leak. For two more days and multiple calls we had no response from them and so we had our handyman repair the vent. He showed pictures of additional celicone (in a different color) that had been added to the vent recently saying that when Skywalker came out the first time I called they added it to fix their shotty job and make it seem like it wasn't thier fault. Finally, we spoke with Skywalker and they offered part of the cost to repair which we wanted the full cost to repair. We are in the process of taking them to court for the full cost to repair.

Jeff arrived on time to provide an estimate. Gave a detailed explanation of services to be provided (thru power point) and what to expect. Offered variety of shingle colors. Roofers arrived @ 7:00 am and worked until approx. till 8:00pm with short break for lunch. Returned the next day to complete job (7:00am to 11:00 am). Left area completely clean.

The company met with me and after the measurement if the home sat down and explained (with a Power Point presentation) exactly what to expect from the workers and the quality of the job to be done. The workers are professional and treated my home and shrubs with the care of there own home. They arrived on time and seemed to work non stop all day with only a short lunch break. I have a very steep slope on my roof and the workers got around on it as if it was flat. The company finished the job on the time schedule (2 days) as scheduled. When the job was complete the clean up was perfect. If it were not for the new shingles on my roof you would never have known I had any construction at all done to my home. After the job was complete the Company followed up and made sure I was happy. I feel this company goes above and beyond what most roofing companies are willing to do. Highly Recommend this company.

The roofing crew arrived promptly at 7:00 am and they were finished by 5:10 p.m. They replaced the roof on our 2-story home, as well as on our double garage and workshop. The crew was professional, courteous, and considerate. And we were so impressed by the thorough cleanup they did. Additionally, we found the office staff to be extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive. We highly recommend Skywalker Roofing!

Jeff, Representative for Skywalker gave us an estimate and provided many samples for us to make selection. He also told us of roofs in our area to look at to get a visual of what our selection would look like on our house. He was courteous and knowledgeable. The workmen were prompt and professional. The roof was finished and old shingles removed. They swept the yard with magnetic devices to pick up any stray nails. We were well satisfied with the price. We were and are extremely happy with the quality of workmanship and professionalism of each employee we came in contact with. We would absolutely recommend them. We have a rental house that requires a roof and Skywalker will soon be getting another call from us.

Great. Prompt in responding to Angie's List message/request. Prompt arrival. Quick diagnosis and repair. Will update review after a few rains to report whether the repair took care of the problem. (Sometimes trying to find a small leak in a roof is like looking for a needle in a haystack.)

Skywalker Roofing did an excellent job replacing the 24 year old roof on my house. They installed a superior Owens Corning roofing product and also did a superior job, especially when compared with the original roof from 1990 and the descriptions in the other three quotations that I received for this job. Their job description was as follows: "Remove existing shingles and dispose of trash resulting from job. Install new aluminum drip edge. (I did not have this on my old roof.) Install new felt paper. (I had no felt paper on my old roof.) Install ice & water shield (I was missing some of this on my old roof too.) on all areas less than 4/12 pitch, all valleys, around all pipes, chimneys and walls. Install new aluminum pipe boots (I had rubber ones on the old roof.). Install new custom aluminum chimney flashing. (This was greatly improved chimney flashing over what I had before. It is a miracle that my old roof didn't leak!) Install new lifetime Owens Corning Oakridge Architectural Shingles. (I upgraded from the 3 tab style) " All shingles were nailed by hand, as per my request. There was no trash or nails left on my property, and my new deck and shrubs were protected well. I highly recommend Skywalker Roofing!

I would definitely recommend Skywalker Roofing without any hesitation for any of your roofing needs! Words can't describe how easy Skywalker is to deal with, and their work is beyond reproach. Skywalker has done numerous roofing jobs for us, and we have referred them to family and friends as well - all have said how great their work is and how easy they are to deal with. Very professional, and their work speaks for itself!

Skywalker Roofing could not have done a better job of installing my new roof. The communication was excellent and they arrived on time with a crew of eight. The crew was hardworking and professional. They worked 11 hours on my roof with a small lunch break, all at the same time. There was no horseplay and they all worked very hard. There was an unexpected issue that came up on the chimney vent and they made every effort to make it right to my satisfaction. Jeff Slaughter provided me with the estimate on my roof and answered all my questions. He also did a great job of communicating with me. They had to have the chimney vent manufactured for my roof and I met the owner of the company, Luke Wilson who helped with the installation. I had my first quote to replace my roof from another company (we?ll call them ?Company A?). I thought Company A?s price was fair, and I was about to have the work done when I decided to investigate the brand of shingle Company A used. I discovered that while it was a good shingle, EVERYONE recommended Owens Corning shingles instead. Owens Corning?s website shows Skywalker Roofing as being the local ?Platinum Preferred Contractor?, so I called them. I was amazed at how fast they responded, inspected my roof, and gave me an estimate. Skywalker Roofing?s price came out to be $600 less than Company A?s?.and I was getting a better shingle. I signed the order with Skywalker after reading great reviews and they were at my house within a few days. They installed the new roof and did a great clean-up job....couldn?t even tell they were there. Only time and some heavy rain will tell if they did a great job, but it looks great! Thanks!

Skywalker Roofing did an excellent job with the roof replacement. During the scheduling phase, the weather was not very cooperative, so the job had to be rescheduled several times. But Jeff kept me informed and was very accommodating when I requested specific date(s). I had many questions along the way, and both Jeff and Luke responded as promptly as they could and answered all of my questions. On the morning of the install, the crew arrived promptly at 7:30 am and were removing the old shingles within 15-20 minutes. Several times, I went up on the roof with Jeff so he could show me a few areas of concern - mainly the old flashing around the chimney, which had been done improperly. Skywalker employs a skilled "flashing specialist" who only does the work around chimneys at each each job. Jeff also showed me that the gutter guards, installed by the previous owner, were not the proper size and would lead to damage to the fascia boards if not removed. (The crew removed them, and left them neatly stacked in the back yard). The crew even removed an electrical service line mast that was no longer in use, and sealed the resulting hole in the roof. The entire job was completed by 5 pm that day; all the debris was removed, the yard was cleaned and everything appeared as though they were never there. Except of course for a great looking roof that is guaranteed for 50 years. Thanks to Jeff, Luke and all the crew!
