The owner/worker stated that he was going be there at 1pm. I understand that unexpected things happen that may prevent you from arriving on time. So, I'm not upset about the lateness but we he got there, he ran a test on my refrigerator and determined my compressor was bad. My refrigerator is running and was running before the test. He replaced the compressor, at least he said he replaced it. The plug the refridgerator back up and said that it should cool off in 4 to 5 hours. the next day the refridgerator was still not cool. I called the owner on Saturday, he did not return my call. I called him on Monday and he said that he had a busy week and that he would call me back once he reviewed his schedule. Never received a call, so I call him on Thursday and left a message. I haven't received any return calls from him, so I guess he just swindled me out of my money. I have decided not to renew my subscription with Angie's list for this simple reason. You don't know who are legitimate businesses from this site either. I'm submitting a complaint to the Better Business Bureau as well.

I called American Home Shield to report the problem. They placed the repair order with Premier Appliance Repair. Tim Scism called and advised he could not do the work that week because he had emergency refrigerator repairs to do. On 1/4/2007 Tim Scism arrived and advised it would take 1.5-2.0 hours to repair washer. He advised he would have to order parts. He also advised I would need to move washer outside to be repaired and he would be able to repair washer the next week. I advised him to call me when he would be arriving so that arrangements could be made to move washer. Tim refused to help move it. On Monday at 3:30pm I arrived home to find him parked on the street. I told him I could help move the washer outside to be repaired. He refused! He agreed to repair the washer on 1/10/2007. He advised he would call to let me know what time he would arrive. He called 1/10/2007 and advised he would not repair washer today. At this time I advised him to forget it.
Description of Work: Tim Scism advised that the seal around the washing machine was leaking and needed to be replaced. Also the belt would need to be replaced.
