Piedmont Installations

It went well - the radiant heat flooring system was new to them, and they followed it through until it was complete and correct. They did all the usual plumbing and fixture installation, but the new build was lower than the city sewer tie-in, so they had to install a pump as well. There were other oddities specific to the new property that had to be addressed, and Floyd even helped me with a few non-plumbing projects. So grateful for his kindness, knowledge, and extra effort!!

Floyd showed up on time and called before arrival. He met with us and asked to make sure that he knew what we wanted. When preparing for the installation, Floyd pointed out that the dishwasher he was installing was not the same color as our other appliances. I had ordered the wrong color. Floyd packaged the dishwasher back up, called Costco where we had ordered and worked with them to return the product. He also pointed out how our old dishwasher had not been installed properly and assured us that the new one would be installed properly. Floyd was as professional and nice as can be and is going to be our plumber from here forward. I cannot recommend him enough!

Folks, if you need an appliance installed, avoid Piedmont Installations! Floyd, the owner, was to replace a dishwasher drawer, and at the last minute sent someone else who had never installed one. He let me know that he had no idea how to do it and had his wife YouTube solutions. It didn't work, so Floyd came out the next day. He also couldn't get it to work and tried to tell me that a part on the new dishwasher was broken. Convenient Appliances came out and found that the "broken" part was from the old dishwasher and that an entire feature of the new dishwasher that was to replace it was never installed even though the directions were right on the door! It worked just fine once they figured out that they were trying to use a part from the old dishwasher. Biggest demonstration of incompetence I've ever witnessed from Piedmont Installations!
