Our water bill indicated we had a water leak and after having the city check the meter we knew we needed a plumber. Asked a number of friends and three of them recommended Patrick. We called him and he said he could come the next day. He went through two tests to determine if leak was outside or inside in addition to going under house in crawl space to make sure it wasn't under house. He discovered we had a very small leak from a toilet ball c*** and fixed that right away. However, the larger lead was outside. He was showing me how he tested and made his determination all along. He tested with a probe and found where it was very wet and told me there was a leak there. I asked what he recommended and he said he could hand dig and fix that leak for $400.00 or come the next day with a power ditch witch and replace the entire line from meter to house for $1000.00. He said that if the hand dig and repair did not fix it and he had to come back it would still only total $1000.00. With that guarantee I said try to fix the leak you can hand dig and we'll go from there. It turned out that the main was almost four feet down and he had to hand dig a hole large enough to let him get in and work. The ground was very wet once he got a little past the surface and it took more that three hours to dig a hole big enough to get in and fix the leak. The leak was obvious and in tow places in the hole but after he fixed it, the meter showed there had to be another leak. He came back the next day with a ditch witch and several helpers and replace the whole line and true to his word the total bill was only $1000.00. Other neighbors have paid from $1400.00 to $2000.00 for the same job so he is now the go to guy around here. They put the yard back as well as could be done after the digging. I was very impressed with showing up just when he said - calling ahead an professionalism. He went above and beyond and I highly recommend him.
