He didn't paint the rails that go to the hand rail in the hallway stairs. There is spots where paint is missing. Where the ceiling meets the wall it looks crooked and bad. He didn't tape anything. He said he would paint the pantry a different day and he didn't. Another area where the paint looks bad, is around our ceiling fan. There are places at the bottom where our current molding is isn't painted. He left a paint roller in a bag on a box and a open can of paint sitting in the closet. They didn't paint the closet after they took the doors off. As far as the shower repair, the handle still doesn't work. Where he laid the vinyl in the one room, he took our doors off but didn't put them back up. To me he didn't finish the job. He rolled up our carpet and put it on the patio. He didn't take the carpet with him but left it off the porch. He would give me reasons why he couldn't come by and get it but he got his money. On the last day he was here, my son reminded him to take the carpet with him up the hill to put it in a dumpster but instead he put it back around the home. My neighbor said he would call the HOA if we didn't get it moved. Derek said a employee of his must have put the carpet there without his knowledge. The drawer he was going to make for us never got made and I paid $25 for that. We haven't had contact with him since Monday.

Please do not hire this guy unless you enjoy having your house damaged and work left undone. I hired him to stain my kitchen cabinets for a reasonable price and he was suppose to complete the work in one week. After three weeks and multiple excuses to why he can't make it to work, he still left our cabinets half sanded and damaged our counter tops, damaged our new paint, damaged the inside of our cabinets, damaged our kitchen decorations. The couple of cabinet doors that he did manage to stain was not the quality and agreed originally. He stole the rest of my kitchen cabinet doors and now i have to figure out a way to pay more money to complete the job and damages he left behind. This guy lacks the professionalism, honesty, integrity and work ethics of a good contractor or independent business personnel. He does not communicate to phone calls and text messages from his clients and the key word on this post is "DAMAGED". So "I WARN YOU ALL" do not hire this guy! A post on craigslist confirms that he is a rip off. He took previous clients deposit and did not do the work at all. We have filed a police report on this guy for stolen property and he currently does not have an insurance policy that he claims he has. As a military veteran who served twice in Afghanistan and saved all my deployment money to have a comfortable home, this guy stole from me and my family. What a disgrace and a waste of a person!
