MARC'S ODD JOBS & HOME REPAIRS

arrived on time, provided estimate, landlord decided against

I called Marc early in June to clean my roof of debris and to clean gutter guards on the house and clean out gutters on the carport. He returned my call the next morning and scheduled the work for the following morning. Marc and Ryan showed up promptly as scheduled and did a very good job at a fair price. I called Marc in late June for an estimate on various household projects involving some trim repair, painting, and installing some new gutter guards. Marc promptly returned my call and said they could come by later that day to review the projects and begin work. I made it clear that I only wanted an estimate at that point. Marc said he would call back to arrange a time for the estimate. He never called back and I had somebody else complete the work. I again called Marc on 9/11/2013 to do a small gutter guard cleaning job and got his voice mail. I didn't ask for an estimate because of his earlier gutter cleaning work but briefly described the job and said I wanted to arrange a time for him to do the work. Marc never called me back. I guess he doesn't need the business.

Excellent service all the way around. We plan on using them exclusively from now on!

He did a good job. He showed up when he said he would be. He is a nice guy. I would use them again.

homesWrong materials. Within a week of rain the community was in worse shape than the start. Another contractor had to be called to truly fix the problem.

I was getting him to clean the gutters and he told me what was the problem and he charged me the same amount and fixed the gutters. He was great. He came that day and fixed it. He and his son came over.

I got them from Angie's List. It was he and his son that came out. Basically I was paying for two people but one person just stood there and watched. I do not think that they were great but I do not think they were really bad either. They came twice and were here when they said they were going to be here. They quoted me a price and then they added up other stuff; stuff which I provided. I really cannot say that I would recommend them. When they gave me the prices, I told them that it was too much and that was not what we talked about, but he said it was two of them and so forth. I went ahead and paid them but I was not real comfortable with that. I am a decorator and I have worked with so many different people in a different area and I was not really pleased with that. I would have to negotiate with them for the price before I would use them again.

He was excellent. I think the way he talked to and handled the home owner was very sensitive. He explained everything to him before he did it and explained the fee clearly before doing any work to make sure it was ok. He also worked with him on a reduced rate because of fixed income issues.

I could not have been more pleased with the work. I was given an estimate which was accurate. The work was timely and I highly recommend his services

Orginal date had to be adjusted because he had a leaking hot water heater emergency. Her called with that information and called us again the day before he came to do the job.

Went well. Job took longer than Marc thought but that was because he was careful to identify all spots needing work on our outside walls.

They came the same day I called. They inspected the problem and completely explained what they would do. Their charges were very reasonable. The work was done quickly and efficiently. I was impressed that Marc checked out the rubber boots on the ventilation pipes, they were also letting water into the attic. Their work looks good, they even vacuumed the room they worked in. I strongly recommend them. I plan to have them pressure wash my house when it gets warmer. It's good to find repair guys who can do a wide range of repairs.

I really liked these 2 guys who are father and son, they came out to give me an estimate on a small job in an upstairs rental apartment of my home, and a mid-size job of painting my front porch floor -which is a big old porch with lots of peeling paint from years before. They were very professional and personable, gave me an e-mail quote within one day on the upstairs floor refinish and window mount a/c job which was very fair and better than other quotes. I had also expected and requested a quote on the second job of the front porch painting, which they never sent. I guess they are either too busy or just really didn't want to do the job after all. In any case i did like these 2 fellows so much and got the impression they are quite skilled at what they can do that I may call them again in the future if I need something done to this old house (we decided to do the front porch painting and other small project ourselves).

They were on time, did a good job, and did an excellent job of cleaning up after themselves. We discussed other potential home improvement projects I'm considering and I'll definitely contact them for at least an estimate when I'm ready to tackle them.

We weren't sure who would be able to fix the odd piece of flashing that had gotten partially detached from a recent windstorm. We found Marc here on Angie's List and he was very responsive in calling back, coming out for a quote and then performing the services. He was able to repair the flashing satisfactorily, and the house is sparkling clean. I would definitely use him again for any future odd jobs!

I thought he was on Angie's. He was good and his price was good. He did what he said he would do. I would probably use him for small house repairs and odd jobs as his name says. It was a good price. He was just a reasonable guy. He was a good guy to talk to and trustworthy. I have no dislikes. Overall I liked the price.

Everything about them was fine. I am planning to use them again. I rate them high overall.

. They are amazing. They are trust worthy and reasonable. They can do almost anything. We would continue to use them in the future.

They did no work. They came out to estimate th ejob and we never heard back with aquote even after three follow up requests.

Marc and Ryan were prompt, clearly explained their pricing structure, and gave me consistent updates by cell phone throughout the process.

An attempt was made to break into our home. I called Marc's and he came over the next day to give me an estimate. We discussed replacing the door, but decided replacing the broken glass and adding a double-deadbolt lock would be fine. I accepted his estimate of $150, and Marc and his son Ryan were at my home the next morning with all materials and tools needed to do the job. They were fast and did an excellent job. The total was $165. Marc explained all costs and they cleaned up afterward. I was happy with the work and expect to use Marc and Ryan again for more work we will have done.

Was told I was behind a couple of other jobs so no specific date for the service given. A follow up just before Memorial Day gave a promise of the following week which was honored.

I had a list of a half dozen things -- just odds and ends -- that needed to be done to my vacant house. Marc met me first thing in the morning so we could go over the list. We walked through the house, looked at the things, and he made notes as we talked. He was very energetic and anxious to please. Since this was not a major project but several little things, he was able to schedule the work in pretty quickly. Marc had to be out of town one day but his son, Ryan, was able to come in and do some work alone.
