The overall experience was great. Always has been as we have used them 4 other times (should have recommended them before now!). They arrived on time, always courteous and pack more efficiently than I do! The bushes that had to be put in the truck were very heavy and they NEVER complained about anything. THEY WERE GREAT! Thad Lofton and his team are a pleasure to work with, EVERY TIME.

I recently purchased a home and the previous owner left many "gifts" in attic, the crawlspace, and the backyard. I wanted NC Junkyard dogs to estimate the price of the all the junk. I called for an estimate and they were able to come out the next day. They sent two men and truck (they arrived about 10 minutes early) in case I approved the estimate but they did inform me that I was under no obligation to have the work performed at that time. One employee went into my attic and the other went under the house and I had an estimate within 10 minutes. They estimated that I had about 1/4 load and this would be about $140-$160 dollars. They mentioned that they would not be sure of the final price until they had all my junk removed. I was satisfied with this range and asked them to begin the work. They completed the removal of everything but one item within the hour. They had to return at a later time that day to remove the last and largest piece of junk as it was too heavy for just two guys to move. They started with the attic so that they would not bring outside debris in on their shoes. I appreciated their thoughtfulness. They wiped their shoes each time before entering my house. After the attic was cleaned out, they worked together to empty the crawlspace and then started on the yard debris. They promised to remove the large piece of metal from my yard by the same afternoon and they lived up to this promise. My final price was $215 because there was more stuff in my attic than I was aware of and some of the pieces were very large. This was somewhat higher than the range they estimated but they did some quality work and I appreciated the evacuation of all that crap from my property.

The two men who arrived were friendly, polite and efficient. I showed them the three different rooms they were to remove furniture and debris from and left them to their work. They took away all I asked with little noise. They shut doors which were to be shut and turned off lights which were to be turned off.....which is a plus for me. Usually when repairmen or such come to my house I have to follow after from room to room shutting off lights and shutting and locking doors. It was a plus for me.
