About us

"From the wall studs in and the wall studs out." I have been offering a referral-only handyman service since 1986. I am a craftsman and sole proprietor who is skilled in most general home repairs, general maintenance, hardware installations, fire enclosure installations, small remodels, painting, and most trades. I am lead RRP (Renovate, Remodel, Paint (lead dust containment)) certified. I am a good mechanic but not a decorator. No job is too small. I take pride in a job well done or not at all. I take pride in a clean job site during the course of a job and after the job is complete. I possess most of the tools required and best suited for the job at hand. I carry no material vendor debt; all accounts are paid in full per vendor agreements, usually at sale or within 30 days of billing. Customers comment on: * clean job site * jobs done in workman-like manner * precise eye for detail in form and function of repairs * skilled mechanic * ability to analyze the scope of repairs needed * unwillingness to compromise on quality of repair, even if it means learning from mistakes and redoing something at no charge to meet quality expectations of both the customer and mechanic * good communication skills One is paid for the mistakes that one has already made and already learned from. Trip charge fees are charged for jobs under 2 hours. Hourly wage is charged "one way" for jobs that are over 20 miles from the home base in Greensboro, NC 27405.
