Humphrey Drywall & Paint

Brian Humphrey came out to give me an estimate on repair and replacement of drywall and interior painting. I needed this work done after another contractor did extremely poor work and ultimately stopped showing up to complete the job despite being paid in full. My home was left in shambles. Brian spent time answering all my questions and carefully explained how he would remedy my situation. He inspired confidence that he would be able to help me after everything I had been through. I had attempted to contact 15 other contractors. Only 3 came out to look at the job. Of those 3, only Humphrey was willing to put an estimate in writing. Every one of those other contractors was found on either Home Advisor or Angieâ s List. Brianâ s crew started the work when he said they would. Throughout the process the 2 gentleman I worked with were professional, fast, clean and thorough. The job was completed on time and on budget. I canâ t stress enough how enthusiastically I recommend Humphrey Drywall and Paint.

Humphrey Drywall is by far the best drywall company I have ever hired not only was the work top notch they were on time and very neat and clean ! The owner came out and gave us a free estimate it was a bit higher then the other 3 companies but I decided to go with Humphrey Drywall because you could tell he knew his business ! We are super happy and recommend Humphrey Drywall to all that need any drywall and painting done!!!

The workers were true pros and explained what they were going to do before they began. The work was completed and hard to tell where the patch was done. Another thing I liked about those men was that the cleaned up after the wok was done. True pros.

We have used Brian twice to remove the textured ceilings in our living room and kitchen/dining room. Both jobs were started and completed as agreed at the agreed price. His crew even repaired a hole in my ceiling due to roof leak that I was unaware of. We are very pleased with his work, our ceilings look great. I will definitely use them again!

I hired this company thinking Brian would be doing the work. On the day they came out Brian left his two helpers to do the job and he left and didn't come back. His helpers did do an excellent job replacing my popcorn ceiling but I wasn't totally pleased with the work. They left about two dozen small places at the top of my walls where the masking tape pulled off the paint. Also when removing the tape they left two more noticeable places where they pulled some filler off the walls. They also left ceiling mix splatter on all six of the vanity light bulbs and light fixture. I also found a foot long scrape on a hall wall where I think they maybe scraped it with a rolling tote. The workers left without saying anything about these issues. Brian called the next day and I told him about all the places where the paint was pulled off the walls. He apologized for not telling me before the work was started that that was something that could possibly happen. He offered to repaint the top band on all the walls but he wanted to charge me to do it. I declined because I didn't want to pay him to do it and decided to do it myself. I spent four hours carefully touching up all the walls, cleaning the light bulbs and fixture and cleaning the scrape off the hallway wall.

Very professional need exactly what he said he will do. on time. finished on time. clean up they mess. walk inmy home preparing drop cloth, tape footies. i couldn't had asked for anything else. i rate this company a solid 10 !

Brian is a forthright, friendly and punctual contractor. I had him repair a hole in plaster where a roof leak had caused a large area to fall into the house. It required cosmetically matching up with an existing popcorn ceiling and he did an excellent job. I would recommend him to anyone.

Brian was very prompt in his response, very courteous, professional. He did an excellent job on the repair and did it safely with proper scaffolding on my 20 ft high ceiling. I could not tell it was ever damaged. Highly recommend!

He does excellent work! Brian specializes in what he does: he is very skilled in mechanical work, problem solving and customer service. He is very reliable and has very strong ethics. We use him exclusively for our paint-wall repairs and he is our preferred plaster and drywall specialist.
