This is the third time I have used Guy Harty over the years and I have found him to be knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend him!

They were very rude over the phone, seemed like they couldn't be bothered by a customer for small jobs.

I called and left Guy a message and he called back within an hour, said he did not unclog drains, but gave me a number for a another plumber. So I called the other plumber and he came out in about two hours and got my sink working again.

,He is very friendly, punctual, and efficient. He did an outstanding job on the repairs. I would use Guy P. Harty Plumbing again.

Mr Harty arrived on time, diagnosed the problem very quickly, and did the repairs immediately. A seal at the bottom of the commode was not replaced when a new commode was installed, and there was no caulking done around the base. Mr. Harty and his assistant installed a new gasket and caulked the base. Problem solved quickly, efficiently and for a very reasonable price. Kudos!

I called Guy early on Friday, and he arrived within a few hours. He fixed the problem.

John called to say someone had cancelled an appointment first thing in the morning so he was actually able to get to my job several hours early. He replaced the faucet in the bathroom sink and repaired the diverter in the bathtub so that the shower would work properly when the water was shut off.

I talked with Guy on the phone about the possibility of needing my disposal replaced and I asked him if I could go ahead and buy one. He told me the make and model to purchase at Lowes. Guy showed up on time and did a quick accessment of the tasks I needed help with. He tested the disposal and decided that it did need to be replaced so he worked quickly without any water spills or mess to install the new one. Then he determined that my toilet needed a new flapper and handle so he installed them quickly. He looked at my pop up in the sink and told me how to get a replacement from the manufacturer for free. Guy was very professional, knew his job well, worked quickly, and charged a fair price. I will difinitely use him in the future. We discussed water filtration and he was knowledgable about the pros and cons of various methods.

Guy came out the next day after we called, and he charged us exactly what he quoted us (which was far less than some of his competitors' estimates). The work was done quickly, and he answered all of our questions thoroughly.

I have two hot water heaters located in my attic. Everytime the water is turned on it sounds as if someone is banging on them with a hammer. I called Gary made an appointment and luckily it made the same noice when he arrived. He was unsure of the cause but suggested we chnage out the pressure reduction valve.He idid and the problem was solved.

Guy was responsive to my call, was punctual to give an estimate for the work, which was very reasonable, was punctual beginning the work and finished the work in record time. I highly recommend him.

Everything went very smoothly. He came out at the agreed upon time, evaluated everything and gave us his recommendations. When the parts were in he returned with his assistant again showing up on time and got everything installed. They worked very efficiently and kept everything neat and cleaned up afterwards. The job has been now complete for one month and everything is working well that they did.

Looked into two different problems. Resolved both.

I contacted Guy Harty when my upstairs bathroom began leaking through my dining room ceiling. He was very friendly and professional on the phone and when he came out to give me an estimate for the repair (of the leak and the ceiling damage). At that time, he told me he would be back the following Monday to start the job, Monday came and went without me hearing from him. On Wednesday, I called him. He told me that his and quot;sheetrock guyand quot; had an emergency and had to go out of town, but that he would call me when he got back, probably the following week. I never heard from him again. The quote he had given me was very reasonable, and my friend had used him and been pleased with his work. I'm not sure what went wrong in our case.

Guy scheduled a time to give me the estimate and he showed up on time. I gave him a Request for Estimate sheet that described the work and listed the 5 general things that I wanted quoted. I advised him that the first 3 items definitely had to be done now and the last two items may be done now or postponed until later depending on the overall cost. We went through the house and looked at each one and I gave further explanation about what was needed. He told me that he would email me a quote by Wednesday of last week but I still have heard nothing.

Work was done promptly and on time as scheduled. Materials used were of high quality and workmanship was excellent. I would definitely use again!

Guy showed up promptly at 8am as scheduled. He first reviewed what he was going to do, then lined all the carpeted areas with plastic so as not to track dirt in and out. He removed the old water heater and put in the new one. Because the water heater is located in the attic he suggested replacing the old shallow catch pan with a deeper one in case of a leak, which I had agreed to previously when he gave us the estimate. He arranged to have the pan custom made because of it's location. He also changed out the emergency drainage tube as he thought it was too narrow for the size of water heater. He brought the gas connection up to code. I was particularly impressed that he insisted and arranged for the County inspector to come inspect his work even though now It is not required by state law. He also included a carbon monoxide detector for safety. I found Guy to be professional, fair, conscientious and trustworthy and would recommend him for any plumbing work you may have. P.S. he also recommended that I drain the water heater once a year and promised he would come back then and show me how to do it at no charge!

Prompt, professional, no nonsense, personable

I had several faucets outside that were leaking and they came, looked at it, and gave me a quote. They came back after lunch and did the work promptly and cleaned up. It was very well done and it was per the price I set. There wasn't anything I don't like. It was good to get a couple of quotes, but I didn't get a second quote from them. Anyway, I was pleased with their service.

After I almost busted the pipe trying to twist off the old Delta faucet valve trim, I called Guy to finish the job. Instead of replacing the old trim, I had Guy install a new Moen valve. He worked quickly and when he left, you couldn't tell he was there (other than the new valve). He also came in about $50 under his estimate. Guy is my go-to for any plumbing need and I would recommend him to anyone.
