Great! Everything was very clean!

When we moved in 18 months ago, we hired a "highly recommended" (not from Angie's List) cleaning service. They were not good. Then we found a smaller crew and they were great at the beginning. Over time, the price went up and the quality went down. What was a 3 person crew quickly became a 2 person crew. Right after Thanksgiving we'd had enough. For spot fill in we hired one person to clean our house and the price kept going up and the scheduling was spotty at best. Finally we saw an ad on Angie's List for 6 hours cleaning. We read the reviews and decided to take a chance. I bought the coupon and the next morning, knowing we were leaving town and my mother was due the following week for a visit, I made the call to see how quickly they could come. Ernie picked up the phone and quickly we learned we used to live a town apart before we both came to NC and now in NC. We also follow the same sporting teams. Okay-coincidences but a good one. Although it was tough, Ernie managed to squeeze us in and had his wife and her crew of 2 (3 total) come to our house. They cleaned everything-I mean everything-including things that hadn't been cleaned since we moved in. The tops of every cabinet, our wooden blinds (all over the house) and all furniture. The floors looked new again. The only spot they missed was the top of the refrigerator but we'll show them next time. And speaking of next time, we have them coming this week again before my mom shows up! Then we'll be using them as our regular cleaning service from now on! Great crew, two women and one man and they work fast and they work hard.

G I Cleaning Services is the best maid service I've used in the Triad. The team of cleaners arrived promptly at my home, ready to work, with all of their supplies. I've tried many, many cleaning companies, and none have been as thorough as G I Cleaning. While a man with a power vacuum on his back vacuumed the corners and crevices of every room (the places near the floor boards that are always dusty b/c a regular vacuum can't get close enough to the wall), another woman was cleaning the tops of my cabinets in the kitchen (The TOPS of the cabinets - the part that's out of reach, but really, really dusty.) They even moved furniture to make sure they cleaned every spot of my home. I'm so happy with this service, I'm having them back an a regular basis. I've been searching for a cleaning company that does a great job - and this one is it. I highly recommend G I Cleaning Services.

G I Cleaning is the best cleaning service I have ever used and I have tried many services. I have had to change cleaning days frequently lately and Ernesto has gone out of his way to accommodate me. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Most cleaning services will only clean certain things in your house. They clean everything requiring cleaning even moving furniture to do so.

G I Cleaning did an amazing job and they were prompt and courteous.

Manager had been advised by phone in advance that most work was at high level requiring ladder; he assured me crew would bring 8' ladder. They did not have a ladder on arrival. We had to lend them a ladder. They came in with mops and bathroom cleaners, etc. I had told manager this was a "dry clean" except for damp wipe of wood work as chair rails, etc. They were unprepared for the job. Only one of the 3 spoke English so communication was difficult. I tried to stop them from washing windows - they continued washing windows. I told one, who appeared to understand basic english, not to touch mantle or mirror over it, then saw her cleaning mantle and mirror over it. They stayed approx. 1 hour 45 minutes and the 2 ladies were on phone much of that time. When they left I ran my hand over chair rail in bedroom and it was covered with dust - job had not been completely done. The gentleman seemed to work hard but was very slow. Needless to say, this was not a satisfactory experience.

Friendly, professional telephone contacts before appointment to set date and time and to confirm. Arrived promptly and ready to work at appointed time. Brought all needed materials and supplies. Thoroughly cleaned house throughout--vacuumed, mopped, dusted, cleaned fixtures, wiped down surfaces--no complaints Great work on fireplace, baseboards, and refrigerator--a previous service had completely failed to take care of these 3 problems-- GI Cleaning met my expectations mAfterwards, the owner made a follow-up call to make sure I was pleased. Very impressive.

A team of 3 arrived and began work exactly on time and did an amazing job. The house is clean and smells wonderful.

It was perfect! They worked efficiently, took care of all the details and left my house the cleanest it has ever been! I have already set up a regular schedule of cleaning with them. Very pleased!

The team arrived and performed a full cleaning of the house that we were moving out of. The team was professional and took great care to ensure that nothing was missed. Our home was cleaned top to bottom and the appliances were cleaned as well. We also received a followup call to ensure that we were happy with the service, which we were. I've marked the punctuality as a B because the team was unable to make the original appointment on time at 1pm. However, I was contacted 2 hours prior to the appointment notifying me that they were unable to make that time and we both agreed to a time later in the day. This did not negatively affect our opinion of the service as we are very understanding that unexpected things can arise. I would gladly use their service again and would recommend it to anyone.

Wonderful!!! My son was hesitant at first, probably because it was my suggestion, but really appreciates and respects Mr Merino and his crew. They are prompt, easy to communicate with, very reasonable and have not let us down over the past months, 5 visit. I look forward to continuing with his services for the remainder our time here in High Point. Because the home is shared by 4 boys and not all are able to pay, GI Cleaning cleans the commons area of the entire house and the room/rooms of those requesting service. These young men look forward to being able to concentrate on their studies and focus on the demands of being college athletes, while returning home once a week to a home that looks like mom (and more) stopped by.

I included most of this in the "What did the provider do?" section, so you will see that it went very well. The price was within our budget and they were able to complete the work in a timely manner. Our warehouse is quite a large area to be dusted, wiped, and mopped. So, it was great that they were able to do this with such positive attitudes. Dealing with Ernesto and his employees was a great experience. The only issue at all was that they were about 20 minutes late arriving, but Ernesto texted me to let me know they were running late so that was not an issue. Our warehouse is in Greensboro. Since I knew they were coming from High Point and that others have had difficulty finding our building I almost expected them to be a little late anyway. I am very glad that I was able to find G I Services on Angie's List.

Excellent! GI Cleaning provided 3 people who worked diligently and quickly and cleaned EVERYTHING including blinds, inside cabinets, stove, bathroom, refrigerator, cabinets, toilet, bathtub, ceiling fans, etc. Results were better than anticipated - they were fantastic! Highly recommend for any home cleaning job!!!

I am very impressed with Ernie and his crew. His wife and two others did the job, and a very detailed job indeed. They even took the books out of the little magazine rack and cleaned it. My first contact was with Ernie, in which he scheduled a very quick Appt. and checked on me before coming out. They showed up on time and worked fast but carefully. Before leaving they wanted to know if I was completely satisfied? In which I was very satisfied! Ernie even called to make sure I was happy with the job. These are some very nice and capable folks, that actually know how to run a business. I would strongly recommend their service!!!

We have tried several housecleaning services in the High Point area with very limited success. One service broke some of my wall hangings, another dripped oven cleaner on drawers beneath the oven which ruined the finish on the drawers. So, with some trepidation we decided to try G I Cleaners based on the Angie's List reviews. We could not have been more pleased with the service from G I Cleaning. We asked for a deep clean of the house, and everything was done completely to our satisfaction. Oscar and his team of two were on time, very professional and pleasant, worked hard and did a terrific job. We have a lot of knick-knacks in our home, and everything was handled very carefully, with no breakage occuring. G I provides its own equipment and cleaning materials, too. As a result of their excellent service, we have signed up to have G I clean our house every two weeks.

Easy to get in touch with and quick to come out. Didn't quite listen to the services I requested on the phone, seemed surprised when I mentioned those same services at the house. He and his two helpers were very nice.

They were on time, five people, brought their own supplies. Cleaned some mold problems on walls, upholstery, cleaned floors, walls, cleaned high wooden rafters and detailed woodwork in church nave. Worked for 5 hours. Excellent job.

Ernesto and his crew were phenomenal. They arrived on time, they verified the appointment ahead of time with a phone call. They cleaned the entire house top to bottom after tenants moved out and they did such a nice job. It was very dirty and they scrubbed the bathrooms, polished and mopped the floors, cleaned the carpets, blinds and kitchen. I can't tell you what a great experience this was and as the landlord I will use them again. I wish I had found them earlier! Professional, on time and very thorough!

They do a good job. They do more than they have to do. They are punctual and professional. They are the best housekeepers I have ever had. I would continue to use them in the future.

He is reasonably priced, does excellent work, and is extremely patient with my parents who are both ill. Furthermore, my parents have highly valuable knick-knacks and other items, and he does a great job of protecting them while he works.

Ernie was not straight up from the beginning. He was a price haggler and kept raising his prices during our talks. We finally agreed on a price and he arrived on the scheduled day to clean. Prior to arriving, I discussed a "no shoes" in the house policy which he agreed on. When he arrived he told me he refused to make one of his girls take off her shoes. At that point I reminded him that he understood that I explained to him earlier that I didn't permit shoes in the house. His response was "yeah, but...." and on and on. Very unprofessional and would never recommend him to anyone. Not worth the headache.

Excellent. They have been doing our home, every other week for about 6 months. Always excellent. They come up with things to clean that I didn't even ask for or think about like the top of the canopy bed. One big thing they do that other services haven't done is; make a big effort to put things back in the place they found them such as countertop items (kitchen & baths), bath mates/ rugs, figurines, ect. One big thing they don't do that other services have done is; break things. In 6 months of service nothing has been damaged. At least 2 of the 3 person team is always the same so we get consistent service. Have every intention of keeping their service and would recommend highly.

Great job, best cleaning team I've ever used and have used consistently now since last spring. Always on time if not early, totally reliable and the small but consistent team does a great job. Highly recommend!

They do a very good job and will continue to use them. Ernesto always confirms two days before the day they are scheduled to clean. There have been a couple of times when the scheduled day didnt' work for me and he was very flexible with me in rescheduling. Him and his crew are very friendly.
