Fairway Irrigation is a small, family owned residential irrigation and exterior lighting company based out of Greensboro, North Carolina. From the beginning, we have believed that personal, one-on-one, service was the best way to run a company, and that philosophy continues to this day. We believe that business should be conducted in one way, and one way only: the fair way. Fairway Irrigation does many kinds of residential and commercial irrigation, including drip and landscape systems. We also design and install many kinds of residential and commercial exterior landscape lighting systems, so your lawn looks as beautiful at night as it does during the day. Residential and commercial Lawn irrigation and drainage design, install of lawn irrigation, landscape, drip irrigation, drainage (catch basin, water containment, downspout drainage, foundation), driveway / sidewalk pressure washing, gutter cleaning & leaf removal (winter preferred), crawl space cleaning - vapor barrier & landscape lighting (low voltage lighting). We would with some of the top area landscape design and Landscapers, Backhoe/Grading services. We also provide Backflow testing.

The company is quite responsive and the work had done in a couple of days after I contacted to them. It might be too quick for me as I wanted to see how the work was done but they came on the way to go some other works in my neighborhood with short notice so that I could not meet the people. Also, I was not told in advance how much the work would cost. There was no big surprise on the invoice but my experience would be even better if they had let me know the schedule and price well in advance.
Description of Work: I asked the company to winterize my irrigation system. This was the first time I asked to them as my former service company had stopped serving in my area.

Description of Work: We used Fairway to install additional irrigation zones with our existing system. They were able to fit us into their schedule quickly, and overall we are very satisfied with both the workmanship and cost. |We did have a small glitch a few days after the work was done and they were here in a few hours to correct it. |I'm sure we will do business with them again in the future.

Contacted this company as they were highly rated on Angie's list. Spoke to them and told them I needed my irrigation system turned on and serviced. Seemed interested until I told him I lived in Clemmons. Being in Greensboro I believe it was outside their service area. Never heard back from them.

Description of Work: Fairway says on their voice recording they will return the call in 48 hours of call, this did not happen. If they are so poor at returning calls for new business obviously they are too busy to take my business seriously. It would be best to simply not have such a response on their voice machine. I will not be doing business with them now or in the future.

Any questions or problems which occurred where handled as quickly as possible. Only complain is that rocks and roots removed from the pipe trenches were left under the mulch rather than being put aside where they could be seen and removed. Follow-up has been prompt and pleasant. We would definitely recommend them to others.
Description of Work: Owner was prompt in coming to discuss what could/would be done and brought a list of former clients with him. He walked the yard pointing out how installation would occur and explaining how the systems would work. An estimate was provided promptly. A crew of workman spent several days installing the system and then the owner gave us a demonstration of the system - this was later repeated for us when we were confused about a couple of things.

These guys are real professionals. Brian was knowledgeable about the system (Rainbird) and had excellent recommendations when we asked him questions about it. I plan to use him for any problems in the future, as well as when we expand the number of zones to cover additional areas in the yard.
Description of Work: I called Brian to troubleshoot a problem with our existing irrigation system. I had tried to call the company that installed the system originally (twice), but they had not returned my call. Brian returned my call the next day, came out that afternoon, and then he was able to solve the problem in about an hour. We discussed the general layout of the system with our new fence, and he recommended relocating one head to maximize effectiveness.
