It went well. The household goods were delivered within the time specified. The Excel move coordinator was extremely helpful throughout the move.

We contracted with Allied Van Lines to move our Household Goods from MT HOLLY, NC to CARMEL, IN. Excel Movers in Greensboro, NC managed the move. There were several problems. • The initial estimate was grossly understated. The price for the services increased over $4,000 after the material was packed and put into storage. Our household goods were essentially “held hostage” until we could provide additional funds. • Property damage from the move. I’ve moved 17 times in my adult live – included military and corporate moves. This was the worst move, by far. The damage includes: o The leg of dining room chair broken o 60” flat panel TV destroyed – the screen was cracked because pictures were packed inside the TV box. Improper packing and handling o Two pictures cracked o Missing dolly o Grandfather clock parts bent and destroyed o Several glasses broken • At delivery, many boxes were not placed as marked or as directed. We had to spend an entire day moving boxes and materials to the “right” room. In some cases, boxes were just placed in the garage despite markings that indicated otherwise Your crews and move coordinator were polite and efficient, but we contracted with your company to pack, ship and deliver our household goods without damage. Our total damage estimate is over $5,000. That is unacceptable.

Excellent experience. I researched moving companies extensively before choosing them and they lived up to their prior recommendations. The person who came out to give us an estimate was very professional and the packers and delivery team were thorough and efficient. We are not fully unpacked yet, but thus far everything has arrived undamaged. The moving coordinator communicated well throughout all stages of the move. My only complaint would be that they were supposed to pick up some packing supplies (8 large mattress boxes) that were left at our prior home by the packers but despite multiple calls and a reply that a truck was to pick them up last Frday, they have not yet done so. However, considering the rest of our experience, I have no doubt this will be taken care of, as well. Would certainly use them again! Not only was the service excellent, but the price was several thousand dollars less that that quoted by less favorably reviewed companies. I would give this company an excellent recommendation and have already recommended them to friends.

Was the best moving service I have ever used. They workers were friendly and very careful with my things. The loaded the truck at the storage building and put everything in the house where we wanted it. I will use them for my next move.
