I bought the faucet myself. They also fixed my toilets. One wouldn't flush and the other would constantly drip. They came when they said they would. They were friendly. Everything works fine.
Description of Work: I needed a new kitchen sink faucet installed in my home.

The work seems to have been well done and Chris was a pleasant person to have doing it. My objection came when we looked closely at the bill. We were charged for every little thing. He DID remove a $22 charge for light bulbs- turned out his headlamp had burned out on this job. There was a charge for solder and stuff that I would just consider the cost of doing business as a plumber. I guess it was my fault for not asking about the policy ahead of time. He does do good work!
Description of Work: He replaced a drain pipe in the crawlspace, replaced two outside spigots, and worked extensively on a bathtub drain.

Chris is a delight to work with. He explains what he will do, gives a detailed written estimate, and when things turn out to be more complicated than we thought (like the four layers of sub floor,) he tells you upfront how much more things will cost. Two added pluses: Chris is an experienced re-modeler and a perfectionist! I absolutely would call Chris at Mike Essa Plumbing if I had another plumbing job.
Description of Work: The seal on the toilet in my older home leaked and rotted part of the floor underneath. This job involved removing toilet and sink; demolishing the ceramic tile floor and removing four layers of vinyl underneath (it was like an archaeological dig back to the 1950s!) installing a new Hardier cement board sub floor, new wood trim, and a new ceramic tile floor (the ceramic tile was done by someone else); and reinstalling toilet and sink. This is a common job in older homes and it sure is a pain! The results were wonderful.
